Why did this trailer try and make episode 1 look like it was an action film? Where was the star and fixed center piece of the whole slapstick comedy, JarJar?? He was in virtually every scene of the movie but didn't appear once in the advertisement.
I saw it, it wasn't really that impressive for 3d. I thought it'd really stand out, like the trailer for wrath of the titans in theater, but... it felt more like I was scammed =I
Still, it was nice to watch the movie again on the big screen

My nephew was around 11/12 when this came out and when he told me he liked it I grabbed his arm, rubbed the skin over his triceps to tenderize it a bit, then pinched him really, really hard and twisted my hand. I've seen it, and I loved it. This wasn't because of the 3D, it was because I loved the original, and hadn't seen it in the cinema. However, if you've seen it already in the cinema, or own the copy on Blu-Ray, DON'T SEE THIS FOR THE 3D. The fake 3D SUCKS. The depth was poorly painted, and nothing really has depth. It's just gimmicky bullshit 3D, and the podracing would have been better just flat. See this for the fact that it's on the big screen, but not for the 3D.
This is the only SW movie I don't like, but I do want to see this because this is the only prequel I never saw in theaters. I'll see the other two because I liked them (purists gonna hate), especially in theaters. I wasn't alive in the 70's/80's so I'm definitely gonna see the originals too.
