This dude is damned amazing. He tours with Dethklok as their rythym guitar, I watched him play on the 20th of November with them. He even did backing stacatto, growling vocals. Go listen to anything by Dethklok - this guy plays fucking death metal. Rediculous, fucking rediculous.

Birddery, you're dead-on re Wooden Smoke. it's an absolutely perfect album, intimate and perfect-fitting. I think someone -- maybe Andy Partridge described it as "carved". whatever, it's the work of a singular craftsman, and it really is made to be listened to all the way through. it's got all the idiosyncracies you'd expect from this genius, but somehow it stays incredibly accessible at the same time.
