  • another really good thing to do is to do clapping pushups if you can.. because they wear you down way more then doing regular pushups do so if you do regular pushups after doing clapping pushups it just seems really easy

  • @lgga 99% sure that is not true, at all. The repetitive motions tear the tissues in your arms, thus causing muscle to form to take its place. Any physical activity like that will build muscle. Although, push ups may build less muscle than other various activities.

  • I usually train by doing 10 sets of 20 pushups with perfect form every other day. This helped me increase my pushup count from 25 to 56 in around 2 months. :D

  • im 12 and i do karate, we do pushups, when i first started to do pushups in karate i could barely do 5, after a year i did like 50 non stop, and now i can do atleast 100 non stop. If you want to learn how to do more pushups, just do them everyday, do them til ur tired then the next day try to do more than the day before... hope that helps ;)

  • @JakeM1127 60 in 1minute is not hard. just cos something seems too hard for yourself or people u know doesnt mean its impossible. it depends on the individual, yeh i got heaps of sapper mates who can barely do 60. but my mates in recon 110 easy, then sf guys no doubt even more. so dont go speaking for all soldiers just cos u wana put down someone for ther claims.

  • @pronation1 yes you can gain mass with just dumbells. A rough guide would be 8-12 reps with 3 sets Train a muscle group about 1-2 times a week. You can do curls for biceps, pushus and dips for triceps situps and reverse crunches for abs squats for quads pullups for lats. There are numerous other exercises that you can research for specific muscles that is just a basic list. If you are looking to burn fat weight lifting will do that but cardio such as running will help to increase the weight loss

  • I served 4 years in the marines, and we had a lot of PT studs. I will argue that even in the military the average is no where near 60- 90 .. 60 at the top maybe but your crazy... When I was in shape I could crack a good 60 (correct) I guess if I slouched through 30 more i could make it look like 90 lol

    Great advice. Are there some dumbell exercises you can do to strengthen the Bicep, tricep, lower arms, Deltoids (which are the constitutent muscles required to perform a pushup.. Maybe another video to demo these barbell exercises??

  • Almost everyone saying like "im 15 and can do waaay over 100 pushups", does it wrong!!! Try do real pushup, straight body, chest almost touches the ground, face forward, and try to do 2 seconds the way down and 2 seconds upwards. Then i'll bet the 100 pushups, decreases to like 10-15.
