But the relationship between economic freedom and prosperity is not as direct as the video says and is not valid for every country. The countries of the BRIC group are among the least "free" in the world and are growing steadly.

How much economic freedom do accident victims have when they are scammed by insurance companies as I have been. See "Progressive Insurance Has Treated Me as Roadkill". The Geneva Convention states in part that you cannot withhold medical treatment from people yet Progressive Insurance withholds medical treatment from injured policyholders as torture to force them to sign releases for pennies on the dollar. When did human torture by Progressive Insurance become acceptable?

The only way to have a moral and true competition in the global markets is through True Free Trade. At the moment only the rich and ultra-rich benefit from Free Trade. I want True Free Trade that allows ALL CAPITAL RESOURCES to cross borders freely. At the moment only only the raw materials and value added products can cross. If you want true competition then Human Capital has to be able to move freely as the goods and services do. I'm not afraid to compete with foreigners at all. Are you?

I couldn't agree more! I argue these points continuously! True Free Trade is much different than Free Trade Agreements! If you do not have to worry about having your property confiscated, you will tend to concentrate more on making more money and investing in your business, rather than tryning to defend against government seizures. If people are more free to invest as they swish, those who are invested in will turn out more goods and services.
