many cats and other animals will play fetch(and most dogs won't actually but yeah XD) and panting isn't uncomon when tired, but the tail wagging like a dog i've never seen/heard of a cat wagging it like that, that wasn't raised with dogs from kitten/newborn age! very interesting if that isnt the case :O leads credence to reincarnation and species queer animals.

I had a solid white named Apollo & he taught himself to fetch too.

He also liked to sleep in the bathroom sink on his back, bury himself in a pile of fresh laundry & shove his head completely inside a freshly removed sweaty shoe.

Have you ever taken the cat to a vet for a check-up in regards to the panting behaviour? Cats aren't supposed to do that, they have their own ways of cooling down. Panting is usually a sign of stress in cats. It might be nothing, but it might be worth checking out to be sure.

@napalmnacey she only pants if she's running or tiring herself out when playing. the vet saw nothing wrong with her, she's perfectly healthy :)
