It makes me feel like they are watching me really closely cuz they theink I'm about to steal something. And also I don't want the associate to start a conversation, because I just want to shop. But if there is an associate around somewhere in case I need help with something, I really appreciate it.
i use to work at WET SEAL and I hated greeting people and having to tell them what the huge signs said like "ALL PANTS HALF OFF" who isn't going to understand that. Why do i have to tell them what they already know?

I work retail management. All of my customers are to be greeted then we're to stay within eye contact meaning that if the customer looks up or looks around they should be able to make eye contact to let us know if they need help.
