Love this clip. It brings back so many memories. But what I want to say is "Eric" is about 34/35 years old when this was made. He became a restaurenteur in Brighton I think it was and recently appeared on Gordon Ramsays Kitchen Nightmares. Fact!
everytime i see that dancing scene with the music and the sunset i wish that my afterlife could be spent in an 1980s loop with th films, the music, the fashions and the long lazy days (and the cartoons!) lol!
I had girl that was just like her same dress sense to lol even the beret, ah memories nothing like watching this for nostalgia and memories at the time wish i had time machine :-( life seemed simpler back then.
hard to pin it down, but there is a timeless magic in these scenes. Even the pseudo bossa-nova music! Takes you (or me at least) to another special time and place
Clare Grogan's quirky character really stole the show and I was glad Gregory got the girl that was best for him in the end. The dancing on the ground in a piece of movie magic.
When Clare lies on the ground, and they both begin dancing, and when the camera begins to rotate, I start to get really dizzy. It makes me dizzy every time. It is really weird.

Funny how it is the girl that always picks the man, rather than the other way around, no matter how much power men/boys think they have.
Know your place, men, we are puppets to wimmin, and I think it is healthier that way. Unless they drag you shopping too much.....
and then that is that arguement that they let you go to the footie, and miss church on Sunday....

My house is in this scene. Walk in that park every day - not always sunny though!

All the kids in this film were absolute amatuers and they were all so brilliant. This shows how important the director is.

this film is a gem-completely captures the mood of awkward youth-the early 80's scene has nothing to do with it at all-its classic
