i've done hot laps around kalgoorlie and kwinana there both big wide tracks but i perfere kwinana because of the banking so i can just floor it and sit it up high but i'm a short track person at heart because me dad took me out to salt lakes in kambalda (30 mins south of kalgoorlie) and he set up a small track about 300 m long and 10m wide and me him n a few mates used to race around it alot it was great fun

Yeah Maryborough used to be my favourite track, until I raced at Gympie! Maryborough is a great track to learn on, though I don't know if it's that good for Sprintcar racing. It wouldn't be as fast as tracks like Warrnambool, Kwinana, etc, and not easy to pass on. Still a great track though.

We run alot of Sprint Car meets at the track. There is one meet on March 1st which I'll miss then anotehr later in the season. It is an intersting track to watch an A Main on. I'd love to get down to Gympie one day and watch a meet there. They say its quite good.

just because a track is hard to pass on dosent mean its not as good... i find the harder to pass on tracks to be better because is makes the drivers think of exiting ways to try and pass provides great racing too

Funny, I've always hated Archerfield, even tho it's my home track and I've won 3 features there. I'm starting to like it tho now.

Hi Darren, Thanks for subscribing to my videos. I am racing this season (after more than 2 years on the sidelines), but for now it will be in an AMCA National. Bob's designed a new chassis that he wants me to test. We've still got the Sprintcar and might bring it out later in the season or next season. See how my neck holds up. No, it was a minor incident in a go-kart. I think most of the damage was from the chiropractor a few days later. Oh well. The good thing to come out of all this is I now have even more determination to race. Have fun crewing in nz. Post a video or 2 to show how your driver goes.

hey im 15 and havent missed a sprintcar event at avalon speedway at lara in geelong since i was 4 there doesnt seem to be any crashes in ur video that happened at avalon correct me if ur wrong gr8 song to have with the clip as well

Hi Jarredm. Sorry, most of the footage is from our local tracks like Brisbane and Toowoomba, but there is quite a bit from other tracks raced at during the WSS rounds. I can't remember what Avalon looks like so I don't know if it's in there. Some shots are impossible to tell. Thanks for your feedback.

Thanks! We're based in Brisbane but we've seen a few good Sprintcar races down your way. Missing our regular fix at the moment. My personal favourite is Max Dumesney - love the way he is fast but clean, and uses his head to be at the pointy end of the field when it counts. Bring on the new season! :-)

Hey babe32006, Did you check out my other vids? Yeah, I raced a sprintcar a couple of years ago but hurt my neck go-kart racing during the off-season. I'm finally right and racing a go-kart again, preparing to race an AMCA National sedan in September, then hopefully early next year we'll get the sprintcar out again. Some of the best crashes and racing are from Borderline speedway, Sungold Stadum, brisbane international Speedway and Tire Power Parramatta City raceway. Do you people agree
