It kind if makes you think: What happens when martial art enthusiasts pair up? Do they get competitive, like everyone else in the class?

Actually, The style of the fight itself is very interesting. Several katas in one fight, each kata taking at least 3 seconds to showcase before going to the next.

if you practice with a heavy staff (i practice with an 8 pound staff) then when you switch to a lighter staff you will be able to control the lighter staff more easily. i can spin a staff just as fast as she can. she is probably using a rattan staff which is lighter than most wood staffs. my rattan staff is like 1.5 pounds.
