  • If it's a G17 and you want to go through 3 magazines faster, remove 4 rounds from each magazine and 5 from the last, like this guy and it goes quicker.

  • MSA Sordin earpro

  • @shaldeman11 you can get a pair of electronic ear muffs from basspro.com

Their Redhead brand is pretty decent. I bought the $70 ones and they work really well. It's nice to be able to hear what's going on around you but it also protects your ears when the gun goes off.

  • DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT TYPE OF HEARING PROTECTION HE IS USING.. i SEE THEM A LOT BUT CAN'T FIND THEM ONLINE..NEED TO KNOW WHAT BRAND/MODEL?

  • Prefect form and great saftey love it

  • why the disabled rate option? thumbs up man!

  • I saw him put his left thumb where he put it and I was like NOOOOO that's gunna hurt. Turns out he didn't or is just a badass and didn't even wince at his thumb getting torn to shreds. Sweet ass video.

  • Why does he look right to left at 00:21?

  • @Domovoi07 after shooting the target you need to always check what's happening around you and not just look at what you just shot.

  • @Domovoi07

he actually looks left AND right, its a scan shooters do to get em used to get rid of tunel vision that humans have when under high pressure of adrenaline, and scan left and right for other threats, or other dangers around the target you just shot.

  • @Domovoi07 scan and assess. this is a must habit to have. always be aware of your surroundings - also fights tunnel vision.

  • Great to see! Some of the schools I've been to teach using your support hand to sling shot the slide forward rather than using your slide lock release with your thumb. I prefer to do it the way you do as it seems faster and why have the release lever if your not going to use it.

  • he looks around like...who farted??

  • That one dislike....was the target.

  • I'm always interested in seeing the target when someone shoots that fast.

  • You´re a machine gun dude. Want to see the target

  • I hate people that make me feel like I suck at things. This guy just made my list.

  • Joker ...hahaha

  • Very nice HD quality and great camera angle. Excellent shooting also!

  • Dang. Speedy slide release after inserting new mag. That was cool.

  • @Theophilus1978 90% of the time when inserting a magazine if you slam it in hard enough it bumps the slide foreward, neat trick to knock some time off your reloads as long as the firearm works that way (glock 1911 beretta) only problem is the 90% of the time part

  • @ArmaLiteFanatic My Sigma .40 does that 99% of the time. Wish it were 100 though, still thumb the slide release anyways though.

  • Is that an MTM on your wrist?

  • Outstanding.

  • This is why we came here 0:20 :D

  • damn!now that's how you do it!

  • Scan and assess

  • You slowed down on your third magazine. Trigger finger get tired? ;)

  • Nice work...just got my glock 17. Ima try this form the next time I shoot.

  • alright alright jeez...i think hes dead.

    Nice reloads by the way

  • Very nice drill! I like the breaking of the tunnel vision at the end. The only thing I would add is looking behind you, just to check the status of your team or any other threats.

  • Hmm... range masterbation

  • i thought it was adam sandler's arabic cousin sadam andler

  • is it just me or does he looks a little bit like adam sandler? o_O

  • pretty nice....

  • shit Adam Sandler can shoot lol jkjk

  • nice!

  • @ocabj there's no hammer on that gun... Or safety (at least not in the sense that you're talking about)

  • Quiet professional. Good to see. Too much nonsense out there.

  • @doublebackdude

I like this vid too... ;)

  • this gun is semi-automatic right? plz respond.

  • @codgam3pl4y ....yeah

  • Comment removed

  • @buttpirate57 again it's a competition hold. learn before you speak daughter.

  • @ccc7777777 he's using a competition hold.. learn before you speak son.

  • @ccc7777777 That's what your mom said when the doctor first handed you to her.

  • Perfect form

  • This guy is better than FPSRussia

  • @Danph77 Because FPSRussia barely knows what he's doing?

  • Insta-subscribe. Great shooting, great vid. Make more k?

  • Wow that gave me goose bumps!!! LOL!!! AWESOME!!!

  • Nice high grip...low recoil.

  • I see you put your left thumb very far forward, I see lots of USPSA shooters that I shoot with doing that now. Now for open guns like 2011s they make a spot where you can rest your thumb. Can you help me understand why you and others put your left thumb so far forward?

  • @HackerAndBootSniffer

it's a byproduct of rolling one's support hand forward to get a more aggressive wrist lock to help reduce muzzle flip. most shooters tend to keep their thumbs pointed forward, some feel it helps in indexing on target quicker

  • @MichaelBarnes souds weird i couldn't count 17 rounds in your mag..did you download them

  • If you dont mind can you tell me what kind of camera your using. The sound is awesome.

  • @pystolwhip He used a Canon for all I know. It may be a 7D

  • Fuckin quick draw McGraw!!!

  • Great skill! I can tell you've been practising for a while! Also nice choice of ear protection, I'm very pleased with my pair.

  • THE FORMULAE: Practice, practice, practice...repetition underlying muscle memory...ad infinitum.

  • why did you pull the trigger on an empty chamber before reholstering?

  • @Valhallaization To make sure, the chamber is really empty? Dumb question dude...

  • @Valhallaization Unload, hammer down, make safe, holster.

  • @ocabj just one problem... glocks dont have an hammer as they are striker fired :)

  • Looking left/right with an empty weapon?

  • His thumb is a few millimeters away from the slide, so he's good.

  • Doesnt it hurt to have your thumb on the slide like that?

  • nice shooting, maybe one day I'll be as fast as you, anywho, I was wondering if you had any experience with the G17C or any "C" model of glock, thanks

  • very MAGPUL looking

  • why only 13 rounds in each mag? did you only have 36 rnds total? it it were a glock 23 id understand

  • Shia LaBeouf shoots well

  • adam sanler

  • great technique, very pro, next time i personally would like a glimpse of the bullet-riddle target. much appreciated :)

  • What kind of audio and camera set up are you using? The quality is excellent.

  • Also, can you let us know what ear protection you're using? I'm getting a little tired of my EarPros and am looking for suggestions on electronic earmuff ones.

  • @da1krayziethug

    MSA Sordin Supreme Pro-X

  • @MichaelBarnes heard those were better than peltor's.

  • I swear I thought you were Chris Costa in the thumbnail but still glad I watched the video. It seems like not many people shoot the way you do but I have for years and can't think of any other grip that makes more sense.

Also, whatever you used to record the audio is phenomenal.

  • Me gusta ;) I Like it. Curiosa forma de empuñar el arma.

  • Lara Croft called, she want's her shirt back

  • @OllieMcMenemy

Same kind of shirt athletes wear.

  • @Breakneckhydra1 hardly necessary for shooting a gun tho is it

  • @OllieMcMenemy

when i go out to the range and classes we do more than sit behind a bench in the shade

  • You keep Your thumbs very high, doesn't they get scratched by the slide?

  • Damn good quality.

  • Interesting hand positioning. How are you not getting slide bit?

  • @ShadowWolf32387

my hands are not able to get high enough on the gun for it to happen- i know some guys like Bob Vogel say if the slide is slightly cutting their hand then their grip is right. i wish i could do the same but it's not something i'm able to do

  • @MichaelBarnes does putting your elbow out help you keep the gun center as opposed to putting it under the gun?

  • @MichaelBarnes does putting your elbow out like that help keep the gun center as opposed to putting it under the gun?

  • Nice shooting. Not a slob. Good video quality.

  • Shia LaBeouf wasn't very awkward in this movie.

  • Was someone coming from your left or right?

  • @vinnybob412 when you are about to holster they train you to look left and right before holstering as a safety method when shooting with others. we did that in the academy

  • The thumb nail made this seem more dramatic. I'm still getting one of those, though.

  • excellent form!

  • What does the target look like?

  • Your videos are awesome.

  • Nope

  • Nice Flak Jackets. What lenses are you using?

  • dude, the sound on your vids is the fuckn best ever! awesome shooting!

  • great video. That camera must be really top notch too!

  • just wondering but the way you are holding the gun, is that comfortable? to me it look slike your left arm is tilted up...

  • @AirsoftShizsAndGigs

it's comfortable for me. my left arm tends to get slightly higher than the right when i roll my hand forward to get a more aggressive wrist lock.

  • @tharealscrapz How the hell is this a bad shooting style? It's meant for controlling recoil and nearly all shooting stances with a handgun, you're facing the target completely. This is a taught stance by people that haven't even played a video game. Don't be stupid.

  • @tharealscrapz Hmm, leaning forward, great recoil management... yeah you're full of shit

  • i'm curious, why do you keep that position during the fire? i mean, the gun centrally and between your eyes?

  • @team322

it's the camera's angle, the sights are in line with my right eye when shooting and when in the high ready

  • thats a great technique your thumbs are up a little to high for my taste though but its still pretty great

  • Why are all your magazines loaded to about 13 rounds, instead of full?

  • @aluisious

reload more often, save money on ammunition. most missed shots are the ones coming immediately after a reload since one is usually in a hurry to get a shot off and doesn't take the time to reestablish a good grip.

i like to practice that as much as possible with a random amount of rounds in a magazine to make the drill harder to game

  • Your camera picks up the greatest sound quality I've ever heard on a Glock 17.

  • Not........fucking.......around. Great technique

  • what are the advantages to this grip??? not being a dick just would like to know

  • Uhm... Isn't that a dangerous way to hold a pistol ._.

  • @Crazygamer154 A revolver, yes. An automatic. no.

  • @aluisious Ohhh okay.I understand.

  • Comment removed

  • he loos aggresive plz dont hurt me :)

  • my favourite pistol :D , and that camera is amazing quality

  • cool video

  • homies why this gun sounds so fuckin cool?

  • what type of corn cob are you useing? lol

  • what type of swatch are you using ??

  • @fixi121

it's a dive watch made by seiko. not sure of the exact model

  • @roberthansenfbi

the gun shoots straight, any imperfections on target are shooter induced- i don't feel anything is gained by showing it except maybe boosting my ego. the goal of these videos is for me to show off the gun, not for me to show off

  • Hey can you put up a video of you transition m4 to pistol?

  • Nice work brother.

  • BASS.

  • come to think of it, that is quite an odd grip. You're not touching the slide at all? I'm right handed, but left eye dominant so my grip is odd too. considering going lefty but i dirgress. Nice shooting

  • @Southerly93 I'm left eye dominant too, but for me it works with just turning my head a lil bit to the right and/or down.

  • @TutMirNichts yeah I do that too. the glock 17 is a bit too unforgiving on weak wrists like mine, and my accuracy suffers as a result. I preffer a beretta. A nice heavy gun that doesnt throw casings like freakin Derek Lowe. Since I posted that comment I actually tried left handed shooting and I;m begining to think I was secretly ambidextrous and never knew it. Still like right handed bettter though

  • What do you use to film your sessions?

  • @azerious85

    modern isosceles stance/thumbs forward grip

  • Is that G17 wearing a stock mag release or an upgraded one?

  • @MrKalash74

currently it runs a vickers magazine release, not sure if i had it installed when this video was filmed

  • Why does your Glock in 9mm sound like a Browning M2??? LOL, nice shooting!

  • After shooting the 17/22 and 34/35 platform, which do you prefer?

  • @ryusekai

i can shoot much better with the 34/35, but i prefer shooting the 17 since I feel babied by the lighter trigger of the 34/35

  • What holster and mag pouch are you using Sir ?

  • @max282

the holster is Comptac, the magazine pouches are Safariland

  • @MichaelBarnes Thank you Sir.

  • Hey Michael whats your favorite round!!

  • Man FPS russia needs a cam like this one

  • you look like you could be the next actor as Jason Bourne. Lol

  • Why he looked to right and to left after the shooting?

  • dude the sound in your videos is intense. Wtf editing did you do for that?

  • Whats your background if you don't mind my asking?

  • epic reloading

  • subbed!

  • Very nice controlled speed shooting man! Awesome stance!

  • His shooting is pretty tight.......not as tight as his shirt, but still tight ;) lol had to make a comment about that. Great Vid otherwise, Glock 17 my duty pistol.

  • @DominicanOps

i bought the shirt at the last second, thought they were sized the same as nike's dryfit shirts. thing turned out to be one size too small. tight shirts tight groups ha

  • @MichaelBarnes lol didn't you hear tight shirts are sooooo tactical #mikelawrey

  • This, my friends, is excellent technique. Definitely a favorite.

  • @aluisious

one thing i've taken note of while going to as many different schools as possible is that each person will have a variation of a technique. each person is built differently and uses a firearm for a different purpose, being able to adapt a style to your own body mechanics and end use is infinitely more advantageous than just mimicking someone else. in my experience people who believe there is only one way to do something are full of it

  • @MichaelBarnes Maybe you can post a vid of your targets so we can see how well your method is working for you.

  • @aluisious

i have a few videos up with instructors calling out hits and misses, and some steel ringing. i make these videos less to show off my abilities and more to show off the guns themselves so i apologize for not a lot of them showing target zones

  • Those stalkers on youtube wont stalk him anymore after this video, hes clearly well armed.
