  • This got stuck in my head in music class.. :/

  • Yeah, I played this in 7th grade...looked it up because I suddenly played the melody today while I was working. It took a while to remember what it came form.

  • IM PLAYING THIS IN FIFTH GRADE BAND AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

    (awkward silence)

    ITS TRUE!!!!!!!!!!

  • @warriorcatsfinatic good for you. try showing off elsewhere.

  • 0:21 I always imagine a big huge Russian enter the room.

  • @PS360Million well our director told the trombones to play "Fat" meaning how a large sailor would sound walking in music......

  • I hve to do this for our middle school concert :/

  • @boB50798 im a 7th grade trumpeter and i have to say this is one of the easiest songs im playing for the spring concert :P

  • @KarumaGaming yall must have a way simpler version then. They never play the original professional versions in schools. Maybe you might see them do it in a Symphonic Orchestra in High School.. MAYBE! Othewise its usually a simpler version.

  • borat rules

  • Бред!

  • LOL! at 2:13 looks like the dancer's ass is about to be pierced.

  • I remember playing this on piano when I was little, but in my music book it was just called "Tarantella" I can't believe I stumbled across it again just by accident!!

  • Get over it. Perceptions are what they are. As long as there's no insult intended, don't construe any. It's Russian enough for most of us. It's up to you to promote the correct image. We love this stuff, anyway :)

  • ya'know, i luv playing violin, but this song makes me wanna play cello

  • @26awesomegirl >:( EVERY song should make you play cello :3 its better than all of you.

  • i had 2 play dis in 6th grade wit only 2 weeks 2 practice we sounded awsome.

  • да, советская музыка и искусство были величайшими в мире не то, что современное говно!!!

  • @MihudzeSan Yes, there was much that was grandiose and beautiful. No need to throw out the baby with the bathwater, right?

  • In Communist Russian boat sail you

  • IN RUSSIA MUSIC PLAYS YOU!

  • In Soviet Russia dance breaks you...

  • Awesome timing with the dude at the end!

  • 2:35

    GIANT MUSICAL TRIIIIIIAAAAANNNNNNGLLLLLLLEEEESSS!!!!

  • This song can tell endless stories.....that's why i like to play/hear it so much.

  • вы с ума сошли?а при чем туту грузины?!

  • im playing this for 7th grade regionals this year

  • half of what's in this vid has nothin to do with Russians as nationality.

you in the West have a rather srange perception of us Russians.

maybe, watching too much Borat did something on you guys.

  • @tzar2007 , This vid is meant to be music and images to go with it, for the purpose of musical entertainment. It is not meant as a sociological study. Well, anyway, at least I got half of it right.

And no, I never watched Borat.

  • @sherhino , I'm sure that it MUST be learnt before doing something.

As for me it's an offence that there are pictures of other nationalities used instead of Russian in your video (such as Caucasian and Ukraine).

  • @sherhino you should xD

  • @sherhino oh dont be hypocritical now ... typical common western trait. you have no clue about Russia. you beautiful words dont change a thing Hillary C. haha

  • @tzar2007 i REALLY like this song! thank you. :)

  • @tzar2007 ZZZDRAZZ VOY TOVARICH

  • @tzar2007 borats yezbekistani or something

  • @tzar2007 Perhaps we don't know a lot, but we have come a long way. When I was a child, Russians were the bad guys, although my parents were careful to teach us that the people were probably nice, but the government was our enemy. We imagined everything to be gray and dreary, everyone always sad. Thanks to many efforts in the past 40 years, Russians moving to the US, and the internet, we now see there is much beauty and much to admire from Russia. Learning continues.

  • @tzar2007 Y'know, says the Russian with "tzar" as his youtube account name. ;)

  • @tzar2007 I, for one, know much about the history of Russia and it's Nationality, yet I'm from the West. I don't care for stereotypes, in fact I hate stereotypical people. Not all of us in the West act like idiots, very few in fact do.

I'v never heard of Borat, either.

  • @tzar2007 If you want to talk about a stereotypical image, listen to the far less well known "American" dance from "The Red Poppy."

  • @tzar2007 stop ur bitchin

  • @tzar2007 not like u got rick rolled

  • @tzar2007 I think young Russians have just forgotten their culture. What should he show? Vodka, cigarettes, and rows of identical apartment buildings? It all looked very Russian to me.

  • blood , belles ballet & bread ..@ red square .. by residents of siberia...the true sailors

  • We're playing this now.. xD

  • Played this arrangement of "Yablochka" at the Royal Albert Hall in a balalaika orchestra. So that's where the arrangement came from...

  • i played this in 6th grade

  • Are you in an orchestra then and play a string instrument? If not you are probably lying b/c I have seen an eastmon student in euphonium even have a little trouble with this...

  • Comment removed

  • I know it isn't easy but its harder on a wind instrument; i played this song a few weeks ago and i found doing double tonguing fast on high notes for twenty measures a little challenging but string instruments seem to be bragging b/c they play it earlier

  • lol I played this song with my orchestre when I was like 9 or 10 but it didn't sound that good

  • Nice images! I love this song ...

  • Приезжай в Москву!!!
