great selection of tunes, as always. I have some of these and still looking for others. Jo Stafford, Helen Forest and Vaughan Monroe are among my faves.
Love this music! Those are Tootsitoys, aren't they? A Plymouth in front? I had many of those. Check out my phonograph and vintage record channel VictrolaJazz! You have such good taste and instincts for this music!
@NDrLoR Thank you. Yeah these music videos are just a sample of songs I think are worth listening too. a few people sent me messages asking what kind of music i play in some of my videos and to list some songs they can download. thanks!
@NDrLoR Yes they are tootsi toys. my BF was friends and lived across the street from the owner of the company. the red car is a 1949 Plymouth, and the other car is a 1949-50 ford convertible
@hep2jive Well that would have been just too close for comfort for me. I would have had to have had a sample model every day! A store in our town sold Dinky Toys, made in England, and had a stair-step type display sitting on a counter with maybe 10 steps with about 5-6 models fastened in place on each step with their identification. I would look at it and drool--I finally got the '48 Plymouth and '50 Hudson. There's no telling what one of those displays would be worth today!
