Your not a Racing Fan if you can't admit Nascar is legitmate . They deal with Aerodynamics weight issues tire drama just like european motorsports. They are as close as humanly possible. Obviously there is no way to make sure they are the same but as the rules say, they are built to run equally which makes it one of the only forms of racing where the driver truly is the difference. To make sure they are equal they are inspected before and after practice, qualifying, and the race. The cars get a complete tear down after the race and the parts are inspected to make sure nothing was done to give one car an advantage.
