das ist der einzige wettbewerb den ich selber gemacht hab, das war noch ganz am anfang meiner MKWii karriere und da fand ich´s total schwer das zu schaffen

nach ein paar versuchen hab ichs nahezu fehlerfrei (für meine verhältnisse) geschafft, meine zeit weiß ich nichtmwehr aber an dich komm ich wohl nicht ran^^

Just try again some times (go back to Wii Menu and restart MKW). Then it'll work.

You get a message from Mario Kart (where you see how long youve played and what games) they notify you if there is one (there was one yesterday)

You even don't have to wait for the message. Just hit the download button in the Mario Kart Channel (it seems ti appear kind of randomly lol).

You are one talented Mario Kart Wii player. Every time I see one of your Mario Kart Wii Competition vidoes, there is nothing but super smooth driving and great control all the way.

I would have never have thought of using the speed boost to skip past that first jump either, but I guess that actually works out quicker than going over the jump.

It takes a long time of practice to become that good, though, i.e. in my case 500+ hours.

But there are also many more talented players than me out there ;)

No mud tactic: You have to drive over the edge of the first speed jump (0:20). Then you have to jump for yourself, so that you land up the first hill with the speedtrack on it. Then you will get the necessarily boost.

when i tried this course i basically used the same strat as you but im not good enough at manual drifting so.. i dont get the boosts like you, my best time sofar is only 2:15

Yea, you have to use the last speed (0:24) and go on the bulldozer ramp. Its kinda hard though.

Alright.I am finally able to do that but now its not seeming like it benificial in any way.If anything, its actually hurting my time I think its partically because im landing in the mudd.The first time i tried it i was able to land back on the road.Using a mushroom helps but your then getting stuck in the mudd by the bulldozers cause you dont use the mushroom.Finally, im still not understanding how those people got such low times.I really cant think of any more shortcuts that would help

ok..while exploring around i found a hole bunch of nothing(as expected). And came to the conclusion that this tournament sucks. I have never had this many problems with one track :(

MH i think i remember you from some competition, either way, theres a way 2 not go threw the mod at the beggining :) And dont do trick on the little jumps after the mod, nor the ramp after the sections where crates go right and left, althought u dont always make it so u need a little beat of luck. I got 1:56.0 on it right now, hope i improve it a little

And yes, I know everything you've said, but I don't play MKW actively atm, so I don't bother to improve my time for this one. I just wanted to participate and make a good run, without knowing any strats though ;)

Pokey was the boss in the first competition of october (11th event). You could've known me from this, because I made it to stay 10th in the European rankings - but since you're from America this can't be ;)

And yes, I'm participating in Neo's WMKGs. The next round should be announced the next time (semifinals ftw. XD).
