  • What are your pitch curves??? Thanks

  • @Dewby00619

should be in the description hit the "more" tab

  • Awesome flying man!

  • I wonder if you can cut the grass with that?

  • Me and my dad has one of these and for a micro helicopter it can take some beat ups my dad has crash his 3 times with some majoy hits i've one whoopsy and my little sister has even thrown IGGLE PIGGLE on it and it stills fly's true :) stunning micro helicopter perfect for people who are flying there 450's

  • Woww very good 3d

I have the same one and im not ready yet for 3D fly lolll. Its not easy

  • Excellent flying there Marc !!!

  • Wow - great flying

  • nice, thnx, been pondering getting one, might do it now.

Think you need the ole rubber band trick on your head/mainblades for that slight wobble.

  • That is just so cool, extremely good flying dude

  • Nice flying. How bad did those ground strikes mess up your blades? I just ordered a mcpx yesterday. I'm pumped.

  • @av8er4God

Doesn't really cause any instantaneous damage but over time it will wear them out.

  • nice lawn mowing!

  • very good

  • 10 dislikes!!! what idiot would disaprove your capabilities?!!wow man you fly like a champ! I was at the park today and tried to do some basic flips.Everytime I tried, it pirouetted out of control.Im using a dx6i tx.would those values you posted work for the dx6i? I have to go to the hobby store on monday to replace my tail boom.

  • @thedoorsbiggestfan

Probably 1 hater with 10 different accounts?? I believe the 6i is a Jr type radio the settings I think should cross directly over. There should be no issues.

  • Nice Moves. Mind to send me your controller settings and what mods you've done? i'm having a god aweful time keeping my headspeed from dropping. Its probably 70% of my failed 3d attempts when i just cant pull it back up from a roll...

  • @ChaosShadow00x

    sure no problem

Here are the radio setting used. AIL 60% Expo, 100% DR ELEV 60% Expo, 100% DR RUDD -35% Expo, 125% DR Travel adjust PITCH H 63% L 63% THROTTLE H150 L150 Sub Trim PITCH H 30 Throttle Curve Normal 0-inh-100-inh-100 Idle 1 100-100-100-100-100 For RJ type radio

  • @3rflyingcom Whoa! Why so much expo?!

  • @cracker442

because its very responsive the expos shown were during this video.

  • @3rflyingcom I know it's responsive, but I can't fly even half that well and my expo is down to like 20-30% on ELE and AIL.

  • @cracker442

You could try the settings given...they are for spectrum/JR type radios...if you are using a Futaba then the expo numbers must be reversed (-60 must be used instead of 60 to get the same result)

  • Extremely good flying!!!

  • Hello.. nice fly, are you using the stock radio?..i perform inverted too but i think i'm not as fast like you....i mind transitions.. recovery..thanks

  • @betofazzo

No its not the stock radio is a fully programmable JR

  • lets see you do a pyro flip!!!!

  • @Dirtymuffdiver09

There are some piro flips in the other video. Check it out. Had alot of fun.

    Search "mcpx maximum 3d"

    Thanks

    Marc Ward

  • Have you ever had the tail motor cut out on you when doing these maneuvers ?

  • @Ghostflyer63

physically shut down and lose rotation?...No

However if the head speed sags below minimal RPM due to improper collective management (CM) at the same time lift sags below minimal required for flight and torque reaches maximum as amps reach maximum attempting to spin the head back up , pitch is maximum and throttle is firewalled. At this point the tail is unable to compensate you'll hear the tail rotor rev very high just before the heli pirouettes out of control.

    CM required!

  • @3rflyingcom

Ok thanks. Mine does not seem as snappy as yours in its transitions....

  • @Ghostflyer63

Could be your radio settings or the tail motor could be damaged. When you give give full power punchouts does the tail hold or does it rotate? if it rotates it could be too much pitch or failing motor.

  • He also said they tried brush-less and said it felt really heavy in the air and the brushed was the most efficient for its weight

  • The manager of the Blade Mcp-X said that they tried carbon fiber blades and they were heavier than the plastic ones and didnt fly half as well

  • @dingo7222

I had suspected they did quite a bit of R&D on this bird. Good to know that the CF avenue was explored.

  • Are these blades plastic? If so, I bet some carbon blades would really wake the bird up.

  • @Golgafrinchamdent

Yes they are...Not sure if a more ridged blade would be good...but I bet someone is working on making some now

  • @3rflyingcom Oh I don't know either... rigid is usually a good thing and if you shed a few grams off of the blades surely that will result in an increase in usable power. It will be an interesting mod for sure in any case.... Great flying by the way!

  • @Golgafrinchamdent

A more ridged blade may amplify small undesired movement making the heli more twitchy, harder to fly smooth and making it easier to stall the head....A lighter blade if possible would almost certainly be good as long as it was at least as ridged as stock. I would think a carbon / more ridged blade would weigh more.

  • @3rflyingcom Hiya... Oh no, carbon fiber will definitely be lighter. That's the main point I was making... that lighter blades may wake the bird up and expand it's rather limited 3d capabilities. Carbon fiber is more rigid as well but over a span as short as these rotors, I doubt more rigidity will make much difference. The heli doesn't appear to have the grunt to flex even the plastic stock blades.

  • @Golgafrinchamdent

Humm maybe we could design a honeycomb CF matrix with a skin of some sort..film, plastic or something... That would certainly be light, ridged ...also probably expensive to build and easy to scatter.

  • @Golgafrinchamdent

FYI FBL blades are actually design to be a tad heavier. You can use lighter plades but they usually become very pitchy and do not track well. I also fly a 700e 3g fbl and do enjoy a light blade for flying smack but preffer a heavier fbl blade for fast agressive flight. There is always a trade off.

    Marc Ward

    CENCAL Helis

  • @mgwproductionsinc Thanks, I didn't know that. I've never flown FBL.

  • 1:46 nice!

  • Really nice flying great camera work

  • @26nosscire

Right on man glad you liked it!

  • very impressive flying mate

  • Thanks...They are quite a bit of fun !

  • That's some good flying.

  • awesome flying. and great camera shots! one of the best videos.
