There does seem to be a bug with the water texture as you look down when boarding the Mech. See I see water, a bit bloomy but I can see ripple. On the PS3 it apparently looks like detergent or something xD

Did you use the mod to get rid of the grain affect? Cause it looks high def but I heard about the mod they used to get rid of the graining for graphic enhancement or rather personal preferences. Lots of people obviously didn't like it.

played the demo today but was a bit disappointed i gotta say. The graphics didnt look that great, the shooting was okay but doesnt reach new grounds. The game was scary at some points but overall i thought it was a pretty plain experience.

yeah..a lot better than the first..replica's armor looks more outstanding..more thicker..and broader..and tougher..but i suppose your frame-brightness is 2 high..lol..but btw..how did you download the FEAR 2 Ps3 demo?..its not in playstation store man..

nah i like shooters. I play cod4 a lot. And if you compare graphics and gunplay with cod4 (a year old game) fear is minor. This is no personal opinion i believe.

FEAR was minor but it came out way before CoD4. On the other hand this demo is completely fluid. Everything meshed perfectly for the demo despite the little glitches here and there with random pausing at points. Other than that, I can't say you're wrong because that's your opinion but it's beautiful and just as intense as my first time picking up CoD4.

I still think these people have no idea what programing is actually about. One did on the official forums said this game looked worse than the original. Some people just don't have a good sense of quality. This game is: Smooth, more beautiful than the first, and action packed... by all means I love this game and can't wait for it to come out.

I do have no idea of programming. Its only what i saw in the demo. I played the demo on the xbox so didnt get a mod for the grain effect. Dunno why they did this though as everything seems to dislike it. But i dont base my thoughts on fear-fear2. Havent played the first one. I just compare this to some of the best games out there(cod4) and then it dissapoints. That this was only the demo wondered me even more. In most demo's they choose some of the good/best moments of the game.

No, they don't. The demo is there to help you feel what the actual game is going to be like, and to test out how people like it.

+if your PC doesn't really meet the req..it might lag sometimes..so i suggest PS3/XBOX360 doesn' have lags even mutiplayer..PC FEAR i have..mutiplayer was horriabley lagging out of control..you can't even catch an aim at your target..players keep doing slide-kicks..traps..double-fly­ing kick..z..FEAR 2 kinda ddin't change the actions alot since FEAR 1..i think they should add a grip-attack..when go near a replica's you press a button..and your grip him..and disarm his weapon..break his arm!

I think the graphics were a huge leap compared to the original. That's enough for me to buy the game and play it. I'm not basing my grading material by going from Crysis to FEAR 2 but I am basing my grading material going from FEAR to FEAR2 and can't help but be amazed by the work they put into to make them so vividly different from one another.

its better in 360 and PS3..i know that..its the recomanned grahic actully..you can;t judge by seeing a video..because PS3 has the same power as computer..so PS3 doesn't have any mistakes and has a iny bit of lag..or never =)..it has the gamefull req..=) for comp sometimes lags..tha'ts why but FEAR 2 has indeed improved alot!

It was a pleasure playing it on THE CONSOLE. The controls felt like they where made for a console only. The detailed feedback was incredible on the PS3 Controller.
