My baby albino Pearl lives with a baby Black Moor in a 10 gallon tank until they grow out of it, when I'll get a 29 gallon or 30 gallon tank for them. But when I clean the tank I have to be REALLY careful around the corners because Pearl loves to hang around my hands and once I accidentally smushed her because I didn't see her!!! Are your Pearlscales tame too? She lets me pick her up but the Moor hates being picked up. Also is my Moor aggressive? He always follows Pearl and nudges her rear.
@CherubHorse I’m not sure how much the Gallon unit is. so I suppose it’s about 4.5L. so 45L for 2 Adult fish are enough. The most important thing isn't the Quantity of the water but the Quality. + It's said Pearlscale should be kept in shallow water. Don’t worry. The Black one don’t hate you. It just don’t like to be touched. ( You can see Splash!! on my other videos.. ) Oh! Your Black fish is falling in love with your sweet Pearlscale. Watch them carefully in the Morning!
@KoganenoUwo I agree with you completely in that. And when you said my Moor (Houston :D) is falling in love with my Pearl, I think you're right. He gets VERY nudgy and pushy in the morning! She doesn't mind and though she can swim very fast, she makes no attempt to escape... he must be a bit annoying, though... lol. I would LOVE to breed them in a big tank one day, though. The outcome would be pretty cool :D Maybe a pond one day for those 2 :)
@CherubHorse Probably You will have to prepare a new tank soon with sterilized clean water and baby foods (live Brine shrimp is ideal). Be careful after a day when You'll change water or around spring tide. You have to move eggs as soon as possible before Houston will think it's his new food!
@KoganenoUwo Sounds like a lot of work but I feel up to it! What do the eggs look like? When could I move a filter into the baby tank? ..aaaand how big should the baby tank be?
@puffic33 Honestly I am not sure.... Genetically Pearl scales have tendency to be round like this. I had never seen Peal Scale Fish with slim body. Anyway I read it's Fat on Ping Pong Pearl Scale breeder's page. but I wonder If it has a bigger air bladder than basic carassius. *Ping Pong Pearl Scale are much more rounder than this.

@KoganenoUwo I saw the video and they're really beautiful! I bet you must go through a whole jar of fish food a week, though! Do you still have all of the babies?
@Pop12646Okami Yes. Babies in that Tank are fine. also There are some more babies outside,too. Well... In a way that is true. I have to feed them a lot everyday for breeding every year. Though not as much as Ranchu Breeders. They have to grow fish up quickly for competitive exhibition. If you want to keep Goldfish as long as possible, give them minimum food would be Safer. Honestly Feeding too much is the worst possible factor to make fish ill in Aquarium..
@KoganenoUwo Mines is big... and it had a cute romantic relationship with a goldfish... they would sleep together. It died last 2 months.. ); . And I guess you're an expert on fishies? My mom owns all the fishes in our living room, we have a Japanese BIG gold pearl fish... I don't know what it's kind... when I'm 16 he's 16yrs old. He is now 15yrs old very big :o.
@suzyjonas 15yo goldfish! You and Your mom keeps it very well. anyway I am not sure what kind of fish are you keeping now. Can you upload some photos of them? I think I can tell you which one it is as long as It's a goldfish,.
