The first series was the best. Personally, the best game was Hoenn region (I only think that because Emerald was my first pokemon game). I remember waking up and Saturdays and watching Pokemon early in the morning :) I miss that. The new series sucks. Mostly because, they replaced Brock and it's just not the same.

Emerald was my first game so Hoenn will always be the best game generation in my opinion, but when it comes to the cartoon I saw the originals on saterday mornings while eating breakfast so those were the best. I will say though I'm impressed that the content they've been releasing in the unova generation is decent quality and entertainment.

Kanto and Hoenn were the best.

The worst thing the world would have to worry about is whatever "team" is causing trouble at the moment. Ash could always defeat them in the end though and everything would be okay. i remember my first contact with pokemon till today.

i lived for a few years at my grandmas` and also went to school there.

3 times a week i stayed at school for lunch and someday an older kid played with his gameboy.

I had one too so i asked him what he was playing. he said : "i´m trying to catch a magikarp , you know pokemon ?"I said "pokemon..no".

Then he gave me his gameboy to try it...after that i got pokemon red and fell in love with it.
