One need a lot of patience to play (Read)Interactive fictions. But once it hook's up on you, you can't stop reading (Playing) until you finish it.

Yeah, the days when we actually read and used our imaginations to create worlds instead of blankly staring at pretty pictures that force-fed us what some miscellaneous person imagined that exact same world to be. Although it would be interesting to see how Hollywood would have portrayed some Infocom games had text-based adventures survived longer...
