  • Hey wanna share the notes? PLEASE? That would make me really happy. Awesome job by the way. And ignore everyone who said you look bored, you are obviously concentrating. :)

  • this is amazing. u r awesome :) thx for the notes :)

  • You did very good! Where can I get the notes to this in sheet music form?

    Thanks.

  • Soo I love you soo much for posting up the notes a little confusing but I figured it out. You play pretty good, some of your notes are out of tune such as your F# on the E string. it sticks out a bit. I agree with dmottin, they sum it up mostly. But seeing as this was posted 3 years ago I bet you're a ton better now :)

  • lawls @ ixAznDork. <33 DESTINY! But this is really awesome. I <3 it !

  • that's soo cool. (:

  • @ixAznDork sup ,gee. you're the one that showed this to meh, ixAznDork. :D

  • Awsome video!!!

  • you're so good!

  • Diooooos!!!

esto me puso la piel de gallina!

    Ke gran trabajoo :D

    Me enkantaa :)

  • hey can u please send me the sheet music it would help me a lot,

  • I agree with snowingsaku it would sound better with some vibrato

  • would sound a lot better with some vibrato.

keep up the good job though. (:

  • So did you figure this out by ear?

Or did you get music and if you got sheet music could you please tell em where, sorry but the notes in the info box are a little confusing.

  • that's really good:)

  • OMFG! this is pretty cool! :D

never heard something like this before! :D

    Great job! ^^

  • this is soooo coool

  • seems out of tune. Your violin is a bit sharp compared to the backing track, so its a bit painful. Kudos for effort tho

  • WOW that was something new!!!

  • Cool, FOB on violin is something you don't think of!

But try to join your notes (how you detach your notes sound out of place), work on your intonation, and bowing (use more bow so that it wouldn't squeak).

But still, interesting, I'd do this when I have time!

  • intonation needs to be worked on, but good job!

    maybe try some vibrato!

  • annoying......

  • you did super!! (work on your intanation a little bit!) othet than that you are really good!!

  • where'd u get the music sheet??? pls reply

  • Pause At 0.06

  • can i have the sheet music?

  • it was great

    a little squeaky

work on getting your wrist down when you play

    SLURS!!!

  • I thought this was really good [=

    xx

  • hey, where'd you get the music from, cause i can't read it in the info that you wrote...

  • i like it, but i also live vibrato

  • good

  • Could have done a little more practice! But I enjoyed it in other words. :) I love this song!! Fall out boy rox!! :)

  • sorry i didn't like it!

  • Don't only regard the comments giving you only positive words. Constructive criticism is more important than a pat on the back.

  • AWESOME!!!

  • hey! where do u get the tabs???

  • you need some better beats,

and work on your intination and vibrato.

    and dont be so squeaky.

it helps playing closer to the bridge.

    good job though

  • wow! ur good as lol i play violin but im only on my secound book lol :( + i love the song

  • you're very good!

I play violin too but I'm no good at all.. XP I wish I could play like that.. and Sugar We're Going Down is my favorite song too!

  • Youu Are Veery Good (:

I Plaay The Violin asweel (:

Im Not even On a grade yet <--Lool x

    iLoveeFob<333

  • Heyy! You seem pretty good, how long have you been playing for?

  • ordale i dont play violin or nuthin but this is really cool

  • most of it sounded good, but yea the flats were bugging me too...ur standing sitll too.. usually when you put life into it u kinda flow with the music so i get what ppl r saying about u seeming bored... but over all it was prety good..

  • wow youre good!

  • This is great! (:

  • thankks.

  • A string is flat and driving me nuts. Your a little flat on your notes. Make sure your F# and C# fingers are close to third fingers. Practice Vibrato. Besides all that, you sounded pretty good. Just a little mor practice. Are you shifting right? It doens't seem like it. I think there needs to be some shifting.

  • after the second verse you have it a little wrong, it must be the sheet music you're working from. it's almost like you repeat the first verse and chorus then get a little lost.

  • you are way of key

  • I've always liked when people play songs that aren't meant for the instrument, but there is a major problem with this; You're playing the song as if you're bored. Play with some feeling. Try to work on your vibrato. This may be a personal preference but I've always played with my bow more lose than you have yours. Also you're either applying too much pressure or not enough with your bow and that makes for that scratchy sound.

Keep working though... You'll get there.

  • I don't think you look like you're bored. You looked like your focused; concentrating. Not bored. I don't think it matters how tight you hold your bow either. You were fine.

  • thanks.

  • okk

  • cool

    :D

  • this is such a good job,,

    keep it up

  • it would be much much better with a little vibrato.

    but good job :D

    i like it.

  • ouch my poor ears it's sond horrible

  • Can you do better?

Can you play a song without sheet music?

    But just but your ear?

If you havnt played the Violin

Then I suggest you shut up.

The Violin is a compicated instument and takes a lot of patience.

    Also I loved the video

    Keep it up =]

  • WOW!!!

    cool!!

  • Suuuperrrr!!!!

  • try to not hold ur fingering hand like a pancake against the neck...ur palm shldnt touch the neck. try vibrato...it will make it snd cleaner. yeh u need more rosin. it also snds like ur violin is pretty cheep...u shld get a better quality 1 or 2 least change the strings. overall jst try 2 get a cleaner snd. also, hold ur violin up higher...u will look better when ur playing.

  • look i play both violin, viola, cello and have both violin, viola in an electric version from Mark Wood's viper violin/viola and saber violin

you need more rosin and u use the cheep stuff go out and buy your self a good rossin try paginie itz a bit pricy but worth it use less bow and use it about half an inch from the frog to an inch from that dont use open strings and use 3rd to 5th posion and you need to learn vibrato it will make it cleaner and TSQ Rocks had a master class with them

  • cool!!! Where'd you get the notes??

  • i love you!!!

  • nice cover; but some of ur fingers on the bow look a little stiff like the pinky; idk if its just straightend or stiff; but if its stiff try to loosen it

    again nice covr

  • wow amazing!!!!

    i love you jajaja

  • THats BAdAss!!

    Keep it up!

    I want more!!

You should try Grand Theft Autumn Next

  • thanks.

    i want to.

but i cant find sheet music for it.

    =[

  • i dont like da sound f da violin but dis is awesme 4 sure!!!

  • thanks

  • It's good, but if you used vibrato it'd sound even better :)

  • that was great!!

    i loved it.

    i agree with americanbored

  • You might want to play an E sharp instead of a E.

  • lol nice room

  • lol thanks.

  • I love Fall Out Boy, but I don't like violins, but in this case I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

You took something I would usually want to through out of a moving bus into something AMAZING! ;D

  • Good job! But one question: Where did you get the background music?

  • great work! dont listen to what the other people say...

  • rock on gurl!

  • I think this was great! It's nice to see how much effort you've put into your work and that you're doing something fun with it. I hope you keep it up!

  • can i get the sheet music for this plzz im beging u!!!!!!! plz plz plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • look in the description box

  • tune up a bit and you'll be good

    trust me

i have been playing for 6yrs.

  • Good job even though I play the cello :3

Dont licen to all the other fags ok you just need a little moor practice :)

  • go fuck yourself...whore

  • that was a really dick thing to say. this is good.

  • thank you

  • sorry i meant to say vabradado

  • haha thank you.

I bet you are just wonderful.

    Have a nice day.

  • wow....your kind is the kind i wanna be...even though ppl throw bad crap in your face... you still go on with your day...its great.

  • haha thanks.

It makes my day to know someone said mean things to me and I said nice things back.

It leaves people stumped on words :)

and thats the way I like it.

People also dont expect it, they expect me to be mean and throw mean comments back at them, and so when Im nice, people dont know how to respond.

Its great, you should try it sometime.

  • mmk...ill think about it :P

  • if ur so good put a utube vid of yourself on here (directed tword bethakil)

  • I apologize for the comment. It was done by my 11 year old daughter who is no longer allowed on the computer.

  • I love how you say that but then you have no videos, so are probably just bull shitting. Even if you don't enjoy something you watch on her, where is the need to be so nasty. Anyway music isn't about being note perfect all the time, its about enjoying it and having passion for the things you play, which this girl has in abundance. Unlike you who just seem to to put others down for your own self gratification. Get a life and stop putting down others, it wins you no respect.

  • It's Good.

It'll Sound Even Better With Vibrato.

    <3

    Has Your Vibrato Formed Yet?

  • this

    is one of

    my favorite songs

    just kinda work on your

    intonation...and you'll have

this song perfect and since you

already memorized it it will be easier.

great job =D and can you tell me where you

got the music sheet from? i would love to try it=D

  • watch intonation. & the squeaking..not doing much for tonazation. but otherwise cool.

  • That is awsome!! Plez tell me where u got the sheet music!!!

  • Alot of squeaking going on :S

    Melissax

  • you need to work on your intonation and tonalization

  • Ummm?

How long have you been playing?

  • Thanks for the notes and great job :]

  • Really, really good. Great job.

  • You look so stiff, move around and show some show-man-ship....(no,I can't spell that)

  • hahaha..ok

  • awsome!!!!!

  • thanks

  • you did awsome!!! i love this song and im glad that you did it on the violin

  • Yeah, The Other Comments Are Right, you Need 2Tune A Lot Better, But That Must Have Been Hard To Learn By Heart! Nice Job Ive Only Been Playing On the Violin For Like 3 Years.

  • where did u find the sheet music for dance, dance, sugar where going down, and 16 candles?

please reply, i want to learn that! U rock! please reply

  • i got the book from a store (i cannot remember the name of the store, i think maybe walmart online). Then i had to revise the music.

  • can u tell me the name & author of the book... and see if they have it transposed 4 cello?...if u can then thanx... but cud u at least give me the name & author.. and i cud see if its transposed 4 cello... cuz i wanna get it BAD!!

  • its by Fall out boy. LOL...type in a search engine Fall out boy sheet music book.

  • lol i still didn't get nothing tho....

  • hmm when i did it, it came up with FUTCT sheet music book. Try that From Under The Cork Tree sheet music book.

  • She Really sucks at tuning. Ive been playing for 11 years so I know what im talking about. her bow setting is a little weird and so is the way she holds her hand by the neck of the violin other than those issues she is very good Brava!

  • Her open strings sound a little flat..by about 15-20 cents. i think her 3rd-ish position is usually in tune. Sometimes she presses into the string a little bit with the bow, causing the scratchy sound. Technically she's not bad by any means, there's just room for improvement. And who knows, she might have tuned to a different frequency than the recording played...It's entirely possible considering some orchestras tune to like 442 A or so.

  • i tuned at 440 A but that was me

thats juss what i started out wit in 6th grade

    awesome video

  • awesome song choice

    you played it well

  • learn to tune mate, thats the worst tuning job ive ever heard.

  • yea she only did it that way for that song...duh?

    u must know and of the instruments..[ROTHLMFA @ u.....der...

    shes good

  • you tone deaf twit, i didnt say she was bad, i said her tuning was awful. Ive been playing violin for 6 years now and i would recognize the wrong sound anyday. Shes good at playing, just not tuning.

  • Definate improvement. Your E still sounds extremely screechy/out of tune. Maybe a lower octave?

  • well...I thought it was pretty good...

Its about time you got some better strings or an upgraded violin because the sound is kind of tin like you know?

If you relaxed your bow arm...things would go smoother...

its not really a need to be taught thing...just a relax kinda thing....

anywho...it takes guts to post this stuff and let people say what they think...

    Bravo!

  • cool!

    i play the violin too!

but i don't and can't play any fall out boy songs or any other pop or rock songs.

nice job at this but your violin should have been tuned first.

  • u r awesome,i am goin to try this because i can do panic at the disco on the violin!

  • If you don't mind me asking, how long have you been playing the violin?

  • 8 years.

  • k thanks.

  • can i have the sheetmusic or notes?????

  • in the information box.

  • You definitely need to learn to tune by ear, that should help.

You should sue your first teacher if she didn't make you fix your hand. It sounds like your new teacher is very persistent, which is a very good thing.

Your hand should rest on the bow the way it is in normal position. I can't really teach you to fix your bow hand, as mine isn't near perfect.

  • Ok. I have tried learning by ear. It hasn't worked out so well..but ok. I will work on it!

  • stapado is when u bounce the bow on the strings it comes from the latin word stepadea wich means 2 dance it is kind of like the boy is dancing on the strings

  • Good job :)

  • ur good. tune ur a and e strings!!!! straighten ur wrist!! if u ever want 2 shift or do vabrato u need 2 straighten it. i have been playing 4 11 years and know all this stuff. ur pinky should be more relaxed or else u cant do stacatto or stapado. other than that ur good

  • yeah i know, ive gotten better.

I've never even heard of stapado. What is that?

  • He means spicatto. This reiterates the point I made. He's right, too. Your pinky has to be curved so it can adjust to the position of the bow. Moving your index finger does nothing if the rest of your hand is stiff.

Do you have a private teacher?

  • ok. Yeah i have a private teacher. Sbe has repeatedly tried to change my wrist, and I'm trying. My first teacher didn't make me learn it right, therefore I learned wrong.

  • tht rly stinks tht u learned it wrong. i have been playing for 6 years and my teacher is trying to get me to do vibrato but its pretty hard! gr8 job on this song tho...i wish i cld play more popish music on my violin!

  • Zhou9 you just suck so deep she is damn great are you jeaalous or what, just live the girl.

    And hun, nice playing!

  • thank you :)

  • What you have to realize is, I have not insulted her playing at all. Should she not take my constructive criticism, that is her own choice. However, I would like to note that mature players accept all forms of criticism.

Furthermore, should someone provide me the sheet music, I will gladly prove you wrong.

  • I have taken your constructive critcism, its just like everyone elses. And I am getting a little tired of hearing it, I'm well aware of my mistakes. My teacher is trying to work with me on it. It is kinda hard to change it because of learning it wrong in the beginning. The notes are on the side in the information spot.

  • Your E string sounds out of tune. So does your A. Your pink should not be straight, your bow hand needs to always be relaxed. Also, get rid of that waitress's hand as soon as possible.

It seems like your a beginner.

  • Waitress's hand?

I have been playing for eight years, thanks.

I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL, if I was a professional, I wouldn't be playing for you.

    Thanks for the advice.

  • Waitress's hand is when your hand is flat against the scroll. You're bracing your hand on the scroll, and that's a REALLY bad habit.

The bow hand requires more finger movement; your straight pinky is a sign of a tense hand.

One of the reasons why I thought you were a beginner is because you don't vibrato. In addition to this, your open strings are out of tune.

  • ooo ok. I am trying to work on my "waitress's hand" for a while. It is getting better. I don't know how to fix the pinky. I am not aware of it playing, soo that I don't know how to change. I got behind when I had to change teachers, soo I haven't learned vibrato yet. My tuner says my strings are in tune, maybe the camera makes it sound out of tune, i don't know.

  • how long ahve u been playing? your really awesome. i have been playing for seven years. i can do stuff like this to but i havent made any videos......yet! but i totally agree with oddeven2002. you need to lighten up, let loose. you look like your miserable. once people see you can play song like this and have fun, they'll be encouraged to learn how to play an instrument.

  • Some words, Cassy, you rock. Period. But here's something else: HAVE FUN WITH IT! You have some serious dedication I can see that. But really rock out and go crazy! Don't let anybody tell you that you have "bad technique", because it's not "bad", different. If you saw me play, you'd say "Cripes! He looks horrible!". If you heard me play, you'd say "Jee- Willikers! He sounds great!" Find another song you like, learn the notes, post another one up here on youtube. I'll be waiting.

  • you rock!

  • shweet!

  • errr your technique isn't great (your bow's crooked and your left wrist shouldn't be touching the neck of the instrument) buuuuut the rhythms and intonation are pretty good! < 3 i can't believe... fall out boy... and you GAVE US THE NOTES dude i love you now wtf.

  • hella fucking amazing.

<3 this makes me wish i hadnt quit violin a year ago.

  • loving it mayte!
