Also, "Nostalgia" is an apt way of describing this song, partially due to the fact that it kept me listening to this song long enough to hear the drop, and that took over from there.

It's a remastered version of the original Link's Awakening overworld theme. Same song as after you get the sword and all that jazz. They just spiced it up bit and changed the pitch to roll into the drop better.
