can someone help me? ive installed skyfire many times and when i launch it says since july 1st it isnt available in my area, but i have a fiend of mine who lives in the same area as well and doesnt have any problems at all.. does anyone know whats wrong? :S

hi, great vid! i just got my first smartphone (OmniaPro B7610) and i having problem streaming youtube videos via wifi. Is the skyfire compatible with my phone and can it stream videos via wifi alone? And also can i install it on my memory card instead of my phone internal memory? excuse my noob questions, this is my first wm phone. Btw my phone runs on windows mobile6.5 ; Hope you can help me with my problem. thanks!

I'm sick of all these Opera fanboys. If Opera Mobile/Mini could play flash videos then it would be better than Skyfire but until then it isn't and obviously Skyfire is going to load flash rich web pages a little bit slower than ones which hardly have and flash at all.

Obviously buggy. But the loading time you said was wrong. The pocketnow page loaded in 10 secs and not 7 and engadget loaded in 14 and not 11. Opera is still better as far as browsing is concerned.

for youtube the full screen button doesn't work but if you double tap it makes it full screen.

Opera does support flash. You just have to enable it. It doesn't allow me to post links so.. :S

You just have to search on google; "fixoperaflash"

and click the first link from xda-devs.

Skyfly is the main browser on my smartphone. It runs great compared to other browers. But my problems with it is just what the new version has! Nothing is done with the bugs of not loading etc. The checkaboard pattern is also very annoying. I wish opera had flash otherwise i would change today.

It looks as though Skyfire is going in the right direction although it still has a lot of work to do whereas Opera Mobile 10 is going in the wrong one where they've traded looks for functionality. I really like the Iris browser but the company that made it were bought by RIM so no more updates :(

I'm using skyfire 1.5 and opera 10 beta 2, the text render is more clear in opera but the layout rendering is better in skyfire even if it uses more battery it plays flash too. I won't use skyfire anymore when comes out flash 10 plugins if skyfire doesn't improve: autofocus text and more text cleartype.

I don't see why you'd need an agreement with your provider to use Wi-Fi, you're able to just connect like with any Wi-Fi device. If you want to use mobile data then you need a contract that includes a data plan, but that's cellular data networks, not Wi-Fi.

Finally native Landscape support. If you didn't have a hardware button assigned to rotate the screen, you had to work in Portrait.

And also the dragging in pages is ALOT smoother,
