You can purchase the Sep's dodgers at the marina shop. Use a 12 in leader with a nightcrawler on a #4 worm hook. Let the line out about 100ft behind the boat. Troll around the points and into the coves. I use 8lb test mainline with a 6lb test leader.
There isn't much to see in the beginning, but the sound of the drag letting out line told me that there was something big at the other end of the line. When the fish finally surfaces, it's worth the wait! I'm going to buy some Sep's dodgers and give 'em a try at Los Vaqueros.
Do you know how the fishing has been lately? Going this weekend to try this lake out. I'm from Antioch and didn't know how close this place to me.

What month where you fishing for salmon? What cove was it opposite of pennisula i think its called cox cove?
