  • No dislikes proves that it's impossible for anyone not to like this song!

  • no video and no dislikes.. only sound: proves that the best music is for hears (and not for eyes).

    Really love this one, thanks!!

  • Gleen Miller?

  • This is NOT Glenn Miller and his oechestra and definitely not recorded in 1939. Whose band is this?

  • WHAT MUSIC GENRE IS THIS ? .... I REALLY ENJOYED IT

  • @Hellboy05x,

    to me, this is Swing.

  • now see, this is wher music gets historic. like months agho, i found an mp3 of jimi hendrix wailing away in the guitar at woodstock and i spazzed out. music serves another purpose: memory, and thank god for that. i mean, lots of senoir citizens must think about how much fun it was to dance with thier boyfriends and girlfriends to this song back in the day when gas was a nickel....

  • YES!!!!! @#%)&@)#^*@

  • Took a gal to her senior prom in 1973--this one had more people on the dance floor than all of the rock songs that the band played that night combined.

After they played it, everyone wanted to hear "Take the A Train", "One O'Clock Jump", "Moonlight Seranade", etc. I began to think that maybe my parents were right after all: their music WAS a lot more romantic.

  • @BenAliGtor That's because if this doesn't get your bod moving you better check your pulse.

  • Compare to an earlier Fletcher Henderson recording, "Rhythm in Harlem"

  • The song has won the test of time. Still sounds great!

  • No video...who cares.....it was awsome!!!

my grandmother taught me how to do the fox trot to this song and ill never forget that...after she caught me snooping around in her records....i was 13.....LOL!

    :-)
