Why do some people shake the swarm into the hive isntead of just taking out some frames and putting the box of bees into the hive?

Were there problems with drifting after installing that many packages in such a small area?

@Duboisi I have worried about that, but have not seen it as a noticeable problem. Perhaps they all drift somewhat equally, don't know.

should've sprayed sugar water on them first and wait a while so they don't get mean. A full belly bee wont sting so much.

Apis milifera does not like dark colors, shiny objects, smell of petroleum (gas,oil,diesel) Great job though keep up the great bee keeping
