  • WOW! Thank you for posting this. I kept hoping these would crop up somewhere.

  • I remember this. This was on The Ed Sullivan Show.

  • 2:09 to the end: Well, that was weird. Anyone want to bet it freaked out some little ones?

  • Hey, it looks like Guy Smiley is sitting right next to Grump in one of these early Muppet Meeting Films I'm watching here. I didn't even know he existed before Sesame Street does. It also looks like Orange Gold is the only Anything Muppet pattern to exist before Sesame Street, as it was used for Conrad Love in 1963-1969 Muppet commercials for FHA (Federal Housing Administration), a appearance on "The Ed Sullivan Show" and the Sesame Street Pitch Reel.

  • When was this done? It has an early 70s feel.

  • 1967 to be exact.

  • @jonnytbirdzback Hey, That's Right

  • you just gotta love Beautiful Day Monster !! STILL scary after all these years !!

  • @ProfessorIgor I agree, he was the scariest for me.

  • Hopefully someone's uploaded that Ed Sullivan clip; I've never seen it before. I did see a version of this skit on the Muppet Show.
