  • Its a true shame something this amazing has so few views in comparison to the bullshit that's on top of the charts these days.

  • Frusciante has been the other half of my life for about 8 years... Now I am planning my own inspired stuff. Give a Feedback at my channel or type The Limbo Crysis. =D Peace.

  • LSD

  • No intetion to spread disorder, but I like John's stuff way better than RHCP. Am I alone?

  • @MatheusC20H25N3O no, I'm not even a fan of RHCP and i wouldn't be here if i didn't like frusciante

  • @MatheusC20H25N3O I absolutely adore RHCP's stuff, but I agree with you. I've come to prefer John's solo material.

  • @MatheusC20H25N3O No, not at all. Im a pretty big rhcp fan and I WAY prefer Johns solo stuff.

  • Everything is eternal, nothingness does not exist

No thing has ever become nothing

    Nothing has ever become something

Whatever is in someone has been and will always be

    -John Frusciante

  • @Nuttbuster

    Actually the last line is:

What is has always been and always will be.

  • i think this one song really encompasses what john is all about.

  • Also, if you have johns full discography on your iPod and you go to All Songs, this ones first. trippy.

  • This song opened my eyes to so many things, put this song on and just stand somewhere where you have a nice view, and you'll experience something amazing.

  • The explanation for John's geniuness:

Having been very close to death, that is to say, more to the other side than here, he has accessed a spiritual realm, that informs him how to write songs.

  • This song is beyond beautiful.

  • "And the water from my eyes is because I care who dies" we love you from Spain

  • juss chill and listen

  • 3 guys that do not deserve to live...

  • i love funyuns

  • lyrics please??? lol

  • i love him

  • i love onions

  • just listen quit typing

  • This concludes perhaps the greatest concept album since Pink Floyd's The Wall. I enjoyed every moment of time that I invested in it.

  • hallucination you're hallucinated. RHCP songs are fantastic and ther sound isn't bored. And the music is diferent but not better!

  • for sure man hallucination has a point that someone as talented as john frusciante can feel bored in a band were the do a specific thing and cant fully use their creative abilities but RHCP is awesome especially their new stuff and i dont know how hallucination can appreciate all this stuff and not appreciate RHCPs newest stuff.

  • absolute favorite off this album!

  • I think John's style is amazing. It's pretty amazing how he's encorperated modern technology into his works and how they are so differnt from RHCP but are still great nonetheless. I think better, just my opinion.

  • I would rather see John do his own stuff than be in RHCP. They are awesome together, RHCP will never be the same, obviously. I just think the artistry that John will reach will be more than what he could do in RHCP.

  • @comradehess this is true, and is probably john's feelings too

  • i wish he could be in the band and make solo records like he has been doing.

  • John has left the Chili Peppers cause he wanted to do his own music. He had changed in the last 12 years-He said- Also his musical interests and his personality. John, I bless youto be true to yourself! I love you your a great musician and a man =)We will always miss you in RHCP but we hope, that Josh will be good in the band =) We are looking forward to the future=)

  • john is such a great singer!! i adore his music...but why has he left the red hot chili peppers???...=(

  • Bull shit.

Chili Peppers always were good musicians. It is all about that you're getting diffrent with your age. They are almost in their 50's so do not expect they will still make so hard stuff like when they were 20-25 years old. No matter what i still love & respect them.

  • there we go. finally a chili peppers fan that shares my views. i wouldve left too if i was john.

  • @Anth0ny85 i love the old stuff too but seriously have you heard the guitar in stadium...that albums awesome man. its pop but pop at its best man

  • The band evolved from BSSM, yea that was their best album, but SA is good because it is different, if every Chili's album was like BSSM you'd be cursing them for being samey and boring, just accept they have changed. And pop-sound? No I highly doubt it.

  • RHCP was the best at the begining they had funk style but stadium arcadium isnt the worst , the worst song in my opinion is otherside i herd version when drums was like techno beat and its the more famous stupid pop teenege song. sorry but my english is bad.

  • I agree man. RHCP have gotten so boring and everything they put out sounds identical to the last thing they put out. Californication came out then it came out again, and again. I'd think someone like John would be so bored in RHCP. I'm glad he's gone solo cause his music is better than RHCP's anyways. I used to really like RHCP but man the last decade was just terrible.

  • how is californication the same as stadium arcadium?

  • @Hallucination by the way was nothing like any other album they put out and is arguabley the most soulful, totally different direction from californication, and stadium arcadium they were a lot more relaxed with their age, progression, style. every album was different. songs like hump de bump, tell me baby, dani california were nothing like anything on californication. i would say that everything sounds more mellow since californication, not dull which might be why u think they are similar.

  • I'd like to know exactly how are By the way, Californication and Stadium arcadium the same in any way?

Only thing in common is that they're more 'mellow' than their former albums.

  • The last decade was terrible? In the last 12 years, they have produced 3 best-selling albums, which have received awards and very good critics, being concidered among the best rock albums of its time. I think you are one of few that holds that view.. But behind every great band there is always a small number of people complaining how they were better before they became "mainstream" and really popular.. that doesn't change their music

  • Are you fucking kidding me? RHCP were popular and mainstreme all tthoughout ther 90's and I liked them then. I think their stuff in the 2000's has been tailor made for radio and it's bores the shit out of me. Many people will agree with me but they aren't in this discussion cause tey dont' even know who John is. Most people who listen to John Frusciante are hardcore fans of RHCP so I'm not expecting the majority who view this to agree with me. RHCP don't excite me anymore. John's music does.

  • @Hallucination Cool, good for you..

  • Oh and to even bring up album sales and the awards is a joke let alone the fact you clearly seem to think the Chili Peppers weren't mainstreme untill this decade leads me to believe I know more and actually have a greater appreciation for the RHCP then you do.

  • powerful lyrics. makes you think about life differently.

  • he's a insane sciencist _

  • is his voice not angelic???

  • whats wrong with you?

  • lvlagnific, john is the best !!

  • popieram:) album świetny:)

  • sometimes i couldnt tell if it was high notes or a guitar playing

  • "Time will soon be born, it is starting at the dawn" beautiful part of the song!

  • Really powerful, amazing song. Shame that the vocal effects make it really hard to cover effectively.

  • hah..before the beginning and after the ending..

  • This is really a masterpiece by john. In my opinion this is one of the best songs he has ever written.

  • fuck man... this is amazing. i'm totally blowed. this man has an open mind...

  • lets get high

  • when i listen to this song late at night with my headphones on in my dark room, the drum at the end nearly always makes me blink

  • The album is really good, and this songs really reflect my feeling for his music. As a comment just said it's stupid, ugly, beautiful and amazing.

  • epic song 5/5

  • Ale byłoby miło, gdyby tak się stało :D

  • alright so heres a wild idea that just popped into my head, ive got my own personal amateur recording studio, theres lots of other people with their own as well, i say: one person records a rythm n emails it to someone else, they record over it something email it to someone else n so forth, we end off with some fucking crazy ass music, anyone down?

  • Didn't the Postal Service do that?

  • I would enjoy that, let's do it!

  • yea im down....and i like the idea a lot....like an 8 minute track maybe....can be trippy

  • If only I had something like a recorging studio *-* I would join in a second!

  • why the fuck are you people leaving comments like this on such an amazing song? If you really want attention, go slit your wrists or something. But I applaud Frusciante on the entire Empyrean album.
