  • @MrColdroom If you watch carefully in the slow-mo, he double tapped the light punch with his middle and index finger. This is nothing to do with negative edge.

  • how did that work out when he only hit light punch once?

  • @MrColdroom

By tapping and releasing the button the game counts it as two inputs. Piano method.

  • why do his hands look so fucking massive?

  • hey. did u press LP once and then the rest of the inputs. your fingers were so fast its hard to tell if u press LP twice.

  • Does this work in SSF4? or just SF4? =)

  • Nice tutorial and all that, but Dreamcast version = PHAYUL!

  • @strykah92

hey, just to let you know, the dreamcast version of SF3 is the best one you will ever play. the ps2 and xbox version sucks

  • @mikeruler25

I've played both the Dreamcast and Xbox versions thoroughly (the PS2 version wasn't released in Europe), and the Dreamcast version just flat out doesn't feel right, not to mention those God awful arranged tracks it forces you to listen to.

  • Nice shit, you're so quick with it that you dont even look as though you're hitting LP twice.

  • Nerd Fuck

  • It exploits the engine by if the person performs Akuma's "special" move that would normally force the enemy to go into a block stance if the player is already holding back/down-back on the stick to eat a super as Akuma's move can be cancelled during it's initial frames into his super. Anti-turtle move.

  • needs a lot of practice

  • Can someone please explain to me what the difference between this and the normal Shun Goku Satsu is? I dont understand, is this Kara Demon move stronger?

  • @XIIMCMGIIX the biggest difference is that you don't have to hit your opponent before using raging demon since that simple hit makes ur ultra totally useless.

  • @XIIMCMGIIX

The enemy won't get hit by the jabs and you instantly grab him.

This means he can't escape by jumping or anything else.

  • Here's the easy way to do the "kara" demon: Lp Lp -> Lk Hp.

  • @kananase

That's a regular raging demon, not a kara demon.

If you don't understand the concept of a kara demon please get some information about it first.

  • @zGHyper Thanks for the reply. I'll look into it right away.

  • @zGHyper Okay. I compared both demon moves(had one heckuva time with the controller pad). I did the the first one (lp lp -> lk hp) No problem. Then I tried the kara demon. After about 10 or 11 times I finally pulled it off. Man that can really jack someone up. I'll keep working on the kara, and thanks for the correction.

  • What's the point of the down-towards motion? Since the SGS is lp,lp -> lk, hp

    :/

  • woulda been nice if he showed us how he actualy taps the 2 LPs

  • He hits mp and then lp with his middle finger, and then taps lp again with his index finger.

  • holy shit thats really fast

  • Wow you got it down to a flick of the fingers. thats pretty cool.

  • Nice stick, I modified one with full sanwa parts. Sure was a pain though.

  • Comment removed

  • I can see how it would be handy to stand next to an opponent and do the raging demon without poking a jab out and hitting them before the ultra goes off.

  • Good tutorial

  • the ghetto version lol

  • so hard

  • WTF!

    thats insane dude

  • STICK IS BETTER

  • meh

  • @pr0n3 My wife agrees with your statement.... XD

  • lol fightpad noob

  • lol l4d noob

  • lol can u do 17 ewgf in tekken??? lol noob

  • tekken sukssszzzz

  • tekkens a button masher noob game

  • very true... you have to have skill in street fighter

  • I CAN KICK YOUR ASS IN SOMETHING ELSE THAT'S NOT RELATED TO THIS GAME LOLOLOLOL

Seriously? In a tutorial video, you're telling him you can kick his ass in a different game? Joke post.

  • Nope, in Street Fighter timing is everything. That's why all characters in SF series are well balanced, I've seen experts combo-based fighters beaten by less skilled players that know how and when to attack with single punches and kicks.

That's what makes SF different than, let's say, the KOF series where getting caught off guard means game over for you.

  • Can you get the arcade pad for pc?

  • yh put the controller confic in th emulator then it works

  • I don't think so, though there are probably some custom made ones (not official).

  • yeah the Hori EX 2 works on the 360 and the PC

  • Any xbox controller (as it is a USB port plug) will work in PC.

  • SonofGenkai18 - Not all Xbox 360 controllers work via USB its the newer ones that are Windows friendly. You have to install a driver on the older ones and with anything before Windows XP Service Pack 2 you have to download the driver from the Microsoft website.

  • lol, forgot I even posted this.

I know about the drivers but if you're willing to hash out the hassle of installing them...they do work.

  • Uh are you kidding? The bigger the arcade stick, the better the handle. You get enough area to rest your hands. Try playing on one of those MadCatz SF4 arcade sticks, it's murder. I love my modded Agetec stick. =P

  • i can do these with ps3 stick:/i cant play like dis

  • i know how to do his demon rage in marvel vs capcom 2 for ps3

  • i can do every hard trial with ps3 stick:/lol i was curious how someone get so used to this thing.

  • TE stick has plenty of room

  • can yu get th arcade board for the ps2/ps3 plz let me knw wher if yu can

  • I don't get why the foward downward motion?

  • forward+MP is for the overhead chop, and then since the demon itself requires a forward input, you're required to either release to neutral and then hit forward again, or just roll the stick to down/forward, since that counts as forward.

  • raging demon requires LP. LP, ->, LK, HP

the down-forward motion registers in the game as a forward

much like a shoryuken (forward, down, down-forward)

can also be executed forward, down, forward

  • Nice vid

  • lol this made my day xD

  • love the arcade stick!

  • That sound a little gay XD

  • how many frames do you have to input the demon?

  • i think u have 5

  • Great video. Makes me wanna break out the Sega Dreamcast.

  • waitt it looked like u pressed lp once T.T

  • thats wha i thought too but if you think about how his hands are you can figure out wha he does, he uses the ring finger hits the mid punch the middle and index finger hits the light punch his thumb hits the light kick and his ring finger again to hit the Hard punch

  • nope he pressed mid punch with ring finger light punch with middle THEN index, then thumb for the kick and finally ring for final heavy punch

  • nicee!!! by the way Dreamcast rulzzzz !!!!!

  • nope its mp lp lp forward lk then hp

  • Yeah....that's regular demon.

  • no, its kara b/c of the forward mp....

  • nice tutorial! but with the pad is different timing!

  • holy crap, inputting that kara demon was so fast i didnt even see the 2nd jab lol

  • Damn Harmo uses the same stick I do heh.

Mine has issues with down back now tho :(

Don't even know who to ask about repairs, it's so old.

  • new joystick like a jlf for $15

  • THX MAN !!

  • How do you do that giant lightning super?

Everyone says DDD+PPP... does that mean press down 3 times then punch 3 times? They dont explain well

  • The Kongou Kokuretsu Zan (KKZ) is done by pressing down 3 times, and on the 3rd down input, press all 3 punches.

  • @Timic83amv 2 punches is enough.

  • Is that even doable with the normal gamepad? :p

  • HOLY SHIT THAT WAS FAST!

  • Wow fast.

  • Holy shit...

  • They're called tournaments, and that's much more competitive than stupid Halo "clan" matches over GameBattles.

  • you autowin

  • I don't see you tapping the jab 2 times.

  • It seems like he's sliding his middle finger off of MP for the first LP and then using his index finger for the second one.

  • No. MP = ring finger. Both LPs were middle and index finger.

  • He hit the MP with his ring finger, so those two clacks were both Jabs.

  • nice room holmes

  • nope...nope... yup.

  • someone needs to clean thier room.....

  • SOME ONE NEEDS TO SHUT UP!

  • lol nice one xD

  • hahah

  • i did it once and had no clue what i had pressed but now i know.

  • I DID IT! Idk how but I did True Kara Demon on keyboard. ...aww..finally...FINALLY!

  • So how hard is this without Japanese button layouts? All 3 of my punches in kicks next to each other. My lp and lk don't sit at a different level than the rest. Does this make it much harder?

  • Uh, the straight configuration is actually the American layout.

  • The way he teaches it is actually different from the way he does it. He's using the ring finger to start it off with medium, then pushs jab twice with his index when he's teaching it, when he does it, he double taps jab with his middle and index.

  • Those red buttons and stick look dope! I just have the stock green ones.

  • it look like he push L,p one time

  • It counts as an input both when you press a button AND when you let go of it...

  • Comment removed

  • That's the input for a regular raging demon, he's doing a kara demon.

  • oo my bad

  • He could cut down a bit of time by pressing forward MP and LP at the same time. Then again his Kara demon's fast enough, not including that this was a year ago

  • i just tried it on a ps2 controller... pretty hard.. i cant do it b4 the hit lands.. but i can do it during

  • same here

  • i cant do that.....i'm not so fast like u.....i dont know why, but i'm sure i cant do that (usually using a stick)

  • i know this is relatively easy to do on an arcadestick. But has anyone ever done this on a ps2 controller? I find it nearly impossible to do on a ps2 controller. I cant tap my fingers fast enough. im using standard button configuration.

  • I have actually. I was like you at first thinking it was damn near impossible, but when I acctually sat down and practiced it I got it in less then 5 hours. The problem I have now is being consistent with it. Just to inform you, you don't press F+MP,LP,LP,DF,LK,HP you press F+MP,LP,LP,F,LK,HP on pad.

  • there are something in MvsC2 whit akuma that seems to be like that you know ..

    F=forward XD

    Fx2-LP-LK-LP-LP-F-LK-HP

well its not as awesome as the one of the video but works for the same you do it and you get your oponent to hes defense and he cant move so you do rapidly the combination and you do the special of akuma a sorprise tactic

    thats all heh

  • he has the same move for all the games that he's in.

  • -_- im not talking about the special of akuma im talking that in MvsC2 thers a dash that allow a good sorprise attak -_-

  • if you're talking about the teleport, that too.

  • wOw his hands are faster than lightning

  • why do you have to press 'down+forward' instead of just forward after 2xjab?

  • that's how a lot of the kara moves work, like ken's kara srk too. I'm not sure exactly WHY though...anyone?

  • You have to press down+forward in the middle of a karademon because the initial f+MP doesnt count for the actual demon move LP,LP,f,LK,HP. but when you do a down+forward it registers it as a forward movement and the demon works

  • nice stick i have the same one planning on puttinig in some new buttons soon. do no any way to be abble to play with it on ps2/ ps3

  • Try lurking the shoryuken forum. Your first test will be finding the address.

  • Man my eyes must be going, is he tapping lpx2 that fast? OMG that's pretty awesome. Those must be Sanwa buttons

  • hell ya bro you cant see that second tap i think he is sliding his 2 fingers across them or something.

  • does the release of the jab count as the second input? I'm gunna go try it right now with one jab...

  • can't see the extra lp either.

I thought he was doing it by pressing it and letting it go, and that counting as two button presses.

  • now for practice

  • thanks man your the best now fo

  • Wow... he makes it look like it's easy huh?

  • Hey Harmonaz is that the same stick as the Green button Agetec for dreamcast? Also is there a converter for that stick to the ps2? I just ordered me one. Hopefully my oro will start doing some winning

  • Yes, but modded with Sanwa stick and buttons, and also to use a PS1 pcb so no converter needed.

  • im looking for the same thing if u find one let me know

  • That harm, I just started praticing and I got it a few time but I think my need a new joystick!!!. Har as always..your the man

  • shawdowstep - were you using the Type 2 version?

  • What is the type 2 version? if your talking a controller then still not sure?

  • shadow - When was they to that?

  • Ok dowling (me lost) tell me what step 2 is because the way I'm doing it is

lp, lp (->mp)lk, hp. Now when it happens you see the first 2 lp then the beginning of the MP then Raging Demon? am I close or what?

  • Yes you are close but did you use the IP method as well?

  • Ok, explain the LP method...it that when I press ->mp, lp, lp?

  • shadow - I said IP not LP method. Does that help?

  • What arcade stick is he using? I am looking for a good quality arcade stick to buy so I can improve in Tekken/Cvs2.

  • kk so what it looks like to me is your hitting the MP with your ring finger and then hitting the jab once with your middle finger and once with your index finger??? is that what your doing caus ei coudl never seem to figure out how to do it fast enough and i think this might be it

  • Yep thats the recommended way of doing it. Personally I just tap jab twice with my index finger nowadays - you get used to it with some practice. I refer to it as the ghetto method and its explained a bit better in my button press tutorial

  • nice nice!

  • Damn. Now I can see one of the main advantages of the stick over the pad... Hmm... Makes that 100 bucks for a controller seem alittle more reasonable...

  • Sorry about before guys. You can check my video right now if you wish to know the way I do Kara Demon in CVS2. (Also shows a little more how useful the demon is in CVS2)

  • wow! excelente!!

  • ok, is it possible (for a human) to do this on a controller? I'm waiting on my stick, and I wana try and do it on a controller in the mean time. I have failed so far

  • I can do it on a 6 button controller, or on a normal controller if I map LK, LP, HP to the face buttons, and claw my hand over it like its an arcade stick, still hard as hell though.

  • cool tutorial man, thanks!

  • in slo-mo, he doesn't even kick twice...

  • why downforward on the joystick? why is it not forward?

  • Because forward is already being used for the forward+MP, if you let go and tapped forward again, it wouldn't be fast enough and it would reset. So you have to input downforward to count as the second forward. Kinda how downback also counts as back for charge (Sonic Boom) type moves, etc.

  • damn, nice combo, karate chop then raging demon, very nice

  • wow...mere words can't explain how much you missed the point of this video from your statement.

  • Ok I'll reply since we all started out like this lol. What he's doing is starting the mp overhead and then canceling the move into a raging demon before it hits. If the opponent sees the overhead animation, he'll block low and then get caught by the raging demon. It just adds one more layer of confusion for the opponent.

  • And it can give you a little more time to do it if you're scared of the jab or lk hitting, but some people seem to be able to do it so fast that they might not have to worry about that.

  • that a fake version of kara demon de de de

  • Shun Goku Satsu. Is it really that hard to say?

  • Well then, I must be an anime fag.

But at least I'm secure enough to admit it.

  • Only people who know what the name of the move is called call it that.

  • Only if you know the secret on how to beat it and you don't get hit by a jab while it's buffering.

  • Wow.

Were you drunk when you watched this video?

  • to the guy that did this vid, can do this for kara palms for yun. That would be helpful if i could see the timing needed.

  • It looks like you only hit the LP (jab) once after you hit the MP??

  • it looked like that to me aswell, but if you look REALLY closely, hes hitting the medium punch with his right "ring" finger and then drummng the LP twice with his middle, then index, essentially a 3 finger drum, with the last 2 hitting the same button.

  • Thank you :-)

  • If you press LP it counts for one press, letting it go also counts as one, doing this fast enough makes it so you don't need to press LP twice.
