God only recognizes as His family those who do His will. Salvation is about the heart.

Even in the Old Testament, people who were not Jews by birth, could become Jews by circumcision and worshipping the true God. A remnant of Jews embraced the Messiah and the gospel went to the Gentiles. All these "Jews" are then saved. We who are circumcised of heart are Jews...seed of Abraham, and heirs of the promise. Who are enemies of the Gospel, Jews or Christians? Jews, so they are the subject of this chapter, and yet Paul says they are still beloved by God, and are the Elect...i.e. The Chosen, because the call and gifts are irrevocable.
Readers should also read Joel 3, which concerns the judgement of all nations. Not only will all nations be judged for rejecting Christ, but will be judged for all their crimes committed against the Jewish people and Israel...In fact Luke 21 is a repeating of Joel 3, Ezekiel 38-39, and Zechariah 12-14.

If you will check Genesis 3:15, you will find that God's people ("the church") have always been refered to as "the woman" and it is her Seed that bruises (crushes) the serpent's head. Even in the Old Testament, people who were not Jews by birth, could become Jews by circumcision and worshipping the true God. Romans 9 makes it pretty clear that just because someone is born of Abraham or of Isaac means nothing...Ishmael and Esau both had the physical seed of Abraham/Isaac, but were not considered heirs of the promise. Both of my parents are Jews and my father's last name is Cohen, thus my last name is Cohen. It means that when God brings back the captives of Israel, He would in that time and in those days, judge all nations...that means, He will judge all nations during the existence of Israel...not the same day He brings them back. See Ezekiel 38, where God judges all nations in Israel, after the Jews rebuild their state and becomes prosperous.
We are in the final days, and modern Israel is the proof of that.
