I think this is the ideal way to handle a kaiju in a not explicitly kaiju themed setting. It's dramatic, it's scary, and the monster is nigh invulnerable, but there are clever ways to bring it down. It doesn't sacrifice the traditional immunity to conventional weapons, but it doesn't leave the humans helpless.

I was never really a fps fan but I played resistance 2 and I agree this boss fight was extremely fun especially the part where he throws you through a room where you see some soldier toy.. Point is. this game made me love fps games.

@purpleluver74 but remember that friction slows down whatever is moving and that Hale is part Chimerian so his body regenerates and not only that but smashing into the glass also helped Hale slow down when he got thrown so when he landed he probably only got a bruise compared to a rocket in the face or mouth for the leviathan.
