Yeah Jesse is right in the Funeral ep that the role of Rose has been sung by women such as Bernadette Peters, Patty LuPone and Ethel Merman, and even Bette Midler, so it is big heels to fill. But there are many actresses with twice or three times as much experience who would not be able to perform this song as well as Chris does here at not yet 21 years old. The kid is amazing!

Great rendition. One that all of us gay boys wanted to do, but couldn't, obviously for gender reasons. But we all felt it, at one time or another. One comment regarding the comment that Lupone overacts.....she does not over act. When on stage, one has to over do it, because you are performing for people 100s of feet away and wat above the stage, not 4' in front of you on TV or on a huge movie screen. Has to be over done to reach everyone. Hope this kid keeps nurturing his voice as he gets older.

@snoochy2 No, to sing the song, Fox/Glee gets permission from the producers/copyright owners of the song. They had full permission to use Rose's Turn. They just had Chris Colfer sing it in a different pitch, though he is still amazing.
