Now don't get me wrong, I listened to this band before Vortex and Mustis were part of it, and I liked it. That being said, I have to admit that the lineup they had with them produced the best albums. They're timeless classics.

I don't care whether or not you enjoy Dimmu pre-Vortex/Mustis or post-Vortex/Mustis. The only thing there is to say is that these guys added something unique to the band that cannot be replaced.

I have seen Many bands live, and Slipknot by far has the best ability to perform a show.  Stadium of 75 thousand people, and 6-7 different moshpits at the same time. Also you might wanna check a band named Arcturus, he was the lead vocals for the las album, and a live album (Shipwrecked in Oslo). In 2011 he will rejoin Arcturus.

Dimmu Borgir is one of my favorite bands, the song that got me started liking them was 'Stormblast', I wish half the band didn't quit. It's going to be interesting seeing Shagrath, Silenoz and Galder trying to pull off their new album. I listened to 'Gateways' and it was okay. Best of luck Dimmu Borgir!
