@MagnificentKot Dude over there they will call man made snow, real snow. Go check out the website and under fact sheet you will see a link that says "How is snow made" and click it. It is the same concept that they use here in Colorado. I would say a business would go bankrupt if they tried importing snow. Just a friendly fyi. Good day.

Good park for beginners, which everyone from the desert is. Nobody comes from Colorado to snowboard in the desert for anything more than to just say they did it.. Also, if you are in Dubai in the summer its nice to just get out of the 130ºF heat for a couple of hours.

@AlphaCrosby Uh well high speed quads are about 5 minute ride and 10-15 minute ride back to the lift. so thats a 2:1 ratio possibly 3:1 ratio if you have a longer run. This is a 1:6 ratio so imagine if you spend an hour there, you would get 10 minutes of actual skiing, and 50 minutes of sitting on the lift. To me thats crap. To you thats fine. I got high speed quads so I don't care about this.

If you want to ski in the Desert why not move to the US? You can ski in the middle of the Desert, and it be 50 C, but its ontop of 4000 Meter mountain, Its Beautiful, theres 3 meters of fresh snow, and its in the middle of desert,and its All forest on the mountains.

I don't know about total slope space but in terms of length, yes there are several that are bigger, perhaps not as well refined but in tems of facilities, i.e full size half pipe and proper perminant freestyle areas, the ones in Europe are actually quite a bit better.
