Wow, it's funny how I've got virtually the same mic setup as you but can't seem to make my drums sound like that at all..... The one thing I don't do is e609s on the toms (simply cause they ain't cheap!). but man... KILLER tone!

@robspinelli76 Thanks man. The Oktava mics were bought at guitar center in 2003 or 4 for 50 dollars each. You wont find them that cheap now though.

I like your drumming your a very flexible drummer and great technique. The only drum I don't care for the sound of is the snare it to dry for me I like a Aquarian Texture coated tuned tight and with a tiny bit of dampening no rings just a stick gel. Great playing keep it up. -PK
