Maybe the co-pilot (first officer) was landing the plane. sometimes they take turns so that the co-pilot get more experience.

Are we talking of the new logo? Indeed what a shame the management changed the previos logo to a new disgusting logo. I bet they spent millions on a new logo which do not even have a real marketing impact in the commercial world. Are we talkin of modernity? It is known that Air Mauritius is used to waste cash on unnecessary things i.e uniforms of staff keep changing year in year out. Shame on them. Learn from Singapore Airlines please....

Trust me, Air Mauritius is the best airline I've ever flown with. The only negative thing about them is that the chairs have been sat down and become sooo hard! But that's my father who keeps complaining. But the service, and way the pilots fly is just perfect!

Wow....an incredibly smooth landing and

(let's not forget) beautifully captured on video

all the way down to the last second, and fade-out.

I love replaying :23 to :31 over and over again

because I cannot find any glitch, bump, jolt,

skip, hiccup, deviation, slight lift or ground effect

-- even when staring at the landing gear hydraulics,

the engines, the underbelly or the windows.

simply wonderfull, didn't know air mauritius is flying to geneva. I often flies from geneva and the biggest plane I've seen there is the swiss A330-200 which is going to NY. Nice video anyway!

Sometimes there are also Boeing 747SP or 747-300 or 747-400 or 777-200 from Saudia Arabian.

On Monday and Thursday, there is a plane from Riyahd and Jeddah Boeing 777-200.

In the summer there is more traffic from Saudia Arabian Boeing 777-200 or 747-300 or 747-400.

I have been travelling very often with air mauritius and I have to say they are very skillfull in the art of landing the airbus. The trip is very often pleasant and the landings are simply fantastic. Brillant stuff!!!

Air Mauritius Pilot requirements are very high I have to say, and they dont choose some random pilots, most of them are really experienced.. :) I wish i'll b a pilot for air mauritius someday ^^. But they should change their paint scheme ^^
