  • I WONT 1

  • I have 2 nuts. I would give the left one for this vehicle.

  • better then a house

  • i saw a deuce and a half on ebay where the flatbed was converted into a camper pretty sweet idea

  • How does one change a tire on a beast vehicle like this if they are off the beaten path and it goes flat?

  • @MrConversionVans 2 spares on the top, unload with a crane and electrical winch, lift the truck with one ore two of the heavy duty air pressured lifting cushions (can lift 40 tons 40cm each!), also on board, change the flat tire, load the flat tire with the crane and winch and of you go. The lifting cushions will also be a great help rescuing the vehicle out of mud and sand.

  • its not off road

  • looks cool!

  • kommt der wagen aus aachen ?

  • Some money, this truck, and you can spend two years travelling around the world and go any where. Nice machine...

  • @neagaritrance

I believe it's lots of money. That vehicle isn't cheap and I'm sure every country you attempt to enter will tax it or restrict it.

But a beautiful off-road vehicle nonetheless

  • 6 people prefer exploring desert by mountainbike

  • @rapunzelschlampe Youre right, it's a good but very difficult way to explore the dessert, and much cheaper to....

  • some little suggestions for the future. Have hinged steps so if they hit things from the front or back they just ride over it then drop back down (Like on the old Scania 142's) Maybe a hydraulic ram on the rear bumper so it can raise the bumper for offroading but allso help with loading trailers. Very nice truck thoe. Any more videos or pics of it?

  • @adamswindells1 I could send you pictures, just let me know.

  • @luapskie That would be cool. I will send you my Email in a private message to you ;)

  • Done a good job!!!!

  • impressive job, very clean execution. total cost? who is the builder? do they have a website?

  • @kumquatsta Me, 'Paul Aalmans' (dutchmen) build this truck and sorry, I don't have a website, I build this truck (together with 3 previous truck's) for own purposes, at this time the truck is sold to a German buyer.

  • @luapskie you should consider building a website regardless of whether this was just a one-off job, i'm sure a lot of people are interested in the details of the truck.

  • @kumquatsta Yeah,maybe I'll do so,I will look into that later,thx for your interest

  • this truck is not for sale, about the back bumper you should read my response to comments

  • The rig looks great . The only flaw that I see is the back bumper , the price must be pretty high ( I'd like to know how much please). But in overall , it's awesome .

  • Hey Paul Mooie Truck !! ben jaloers daar past de mijn 2keer in hahaha groetjes Michel (enduro de groot)

  • thats my dreamhouse!

  • Maybe it's just me, but did this thing do anything a sedan can't?

  • you should make the back bumper so it can be removed when off road or maybe raised up a lot ! looks great other wise. oh ya and maybe the front steps to. the are to low when not in use.

  • @spartencamp the rear bumper was just temporary to get the vehicle trough the tüv in Germany, I installed a bumper witch can be lifted to a fix high position during heavy off-road use, it turns to a higher position automatically when it hits obstacles when in low position. Front steps are flex type, so they move away when they touch something.

  • wonder how many times that camper body hits the cab

  • @warrensavage Good remark! Yes the body did touch the cab sometimes in curtain situations, renewing the cab shocks and putting the upper attachments off the shocks slightly higher resolved that problem completely.

  • 3341 nice 6x6

  • Very nice... But can this thing handle sand dunes. My wife's Rav4 can do what it's doing.

  • @4x4perth First off-road test rides are very useful to see if the construction is working out and nothing touches, sand dunes are what this truck is build for, it's just getting warmed up when your wifes Rv gets stuck in the sand.

  • @4x4perth the RAV 4 will have a weight of about 2 tons, this baby is, with its propable 25tons a bit more heavy. and if you take a look upon the tires you see rhese are Continental Offroad Tires, wich are used for Trucks doing Rallye duties, it can handle everything your wife's Toyota can, and evn more.

    Best Regards,

    an Off-Road-Forewarder

  • @Hero1of2liberty Empty weight of this truck is about 13tons, not 25, it's a lightweight heavy-champ, tires are from Michelin

  • @4x4perth Really? Your wife's Rav4 is a house on wheels? Must be a model I have not seen. Does it have bathroom shower etc?

  • jammer, wat was de vraagprijs?

ik ben namelijk op zoek naar zo'n campertruck.

  • @saxofoontje994 prijs was 145.000

  • @luapskie 145.000?!?!? euro?

  • @luapskie and how much needs this baby on 100km? my MAN kat 1 needs ca. 35L

  • @deutschessoftair this truck takes about 32L on 100km, fair if you considder the power output of 490 hp
