i owned the eris, and now i own the droid. the droid is 5x better. i love the keyboard, and the dpad is plenty useful. theres a reason why they discontinued the eris

I own the Eris, and wouldn't get the MotoDroid. It's too bulky and the keyboard doesn't really add any true functionality to me. I'm fine with all touch screen, plus the D-pad is absolutely useless.

I originally wanted the Motorola but it's like $100 more then the Eris. So I got to get the Eris but I guess I should be happy with what I can get. At least you don't have to touch and click the screen like the Blackberry Storm that my dad got haha.

wo days ago i was in a huge dilemma between choosing the droid or eris but i went with the moto droid and i must say, i am in love with it! i have no regrets with my choice. the texting is actually really easy to use, and i dont find the size or weight to be an issue at all.

can you give me an honest opinion on how you find the typing/texting to be on the eris is? i would love to get the nexus one, and i just want to know if the texting on, say, the droid eris, is good or bad.

if you didn't have spell check on, how many typos do you think that you make maybe?

You can just press the spacebar on the eris when theres a word highlighted green, so you dont need to move your finger up and click it. That also gets rid of the space after selecting the word problem. So its not an issue, actually something the eris does better lol

bro i think you are electronically retarted. you are leaving out all the bad ass apps where you can hack shit like walmart light systems. with both phones you can get on the light systems at a store and totally shut them down. you can turn off all electronics in walmart just from your phone if you wanted too. when you are at a place where there is locked wifi there is an app where it tells you the password for the wifi. these phones are fucking amazing.
