What I do is connect my game console to the 3 colour AV input and record the gameplay put the disk into my pc afterwards and edit it in Movie Maker.

BTW If i didnt know how to do it this video was really good very explanitary 5/5*

Anyone who wants to record in HD follow these steps!

1. Buy a HDMI Splitter, you can find them on amazon, e-bay etc.

2. put a hdmi cable from your ps3 and a hdmi cable from your dvd recorder and put them into the splitter.

3. Connect splitter to HDMI in TV.

4. Go to that output.

5.Enjoy! Thumbs Ups so everyone knows! =)

@Guessmylevel Sorry the signal through HDMI is encrypted so normal DVD recorders can't record it. If you want to record in HD there is a thing called HD PVR. If you want to record in same quality but play in HD I have another video on my channel.
