@penseale do you have omarket? download it .. run.. search for cookies(home tab) you can scale up to i think about 80 icons which you can i-phone slide ... (3 pages) it will not change your home screen verry much except you do some more settings !

there not really themes, there more like just backgrounds. themes should at least change the icons a bit and the layout. Maybe thats just me but most of the time when i look for themes i look for an all around change not just the background being changed.

i have just finished watching some palm pre movies on the palm site and this just looks so bland compared to it...

The Palm Pre is aimed at the younger (ignorant consumer) generation who will make use of the Web OS. Strip the fancy UI and you have a pretty bland phone, where as a Windows Mobile user is more of a power user, so bland or not, A WM phone works better than the Pre.

Note: You are seeing the 6.5 "Beta"/Hack, this is not the official ROM, even then 6.5 is not a major update, WM 7 will be. Just like Vista at first seemed like the new big thing, then 7 came along and amazed everyone even Mac users.

No they ARE themes.. Im changing them right now lmao.. A wallpaper would change a background.. A theme changes menu, toolbars, and menu backgrounds as well as the wallpaper..

I love the new wm 6.5 not quite as basic and simple as an Iphone and not quite as feature rich as tf3d.. If you want somthing in the middle which I think alot of people would want I dont really see how it could be much better..

Why don't they call them "wallpapers" like everyone does. Wallpapers, right. Let us easily change the colors of the interface and the wallpaper, and THEN we'll be (almost) happy about the interface "customizability"

S~T~U~P~I~D I can't express how crappy the new rom~6.5 wm looks. It makes me think of windows smart phones which are bad looking and anoying. I love how I currently have an open source home screen! I use minimal today programes to there full potential...Touch-Shell & Mort Buttons and possibly the start menue leaving intended wallpapers in full view! I don't understand why they are mainking a new version look so smart phoneish and crappy? Especial a rummored zune HD PURE CRAP...

People....u change the whole color scheme by changing the theme. If u look in the top bar u see that it changes too to match the colors.

The reviewer exactly knows what he is talking about.

With some ROMs touchflo 3d is included. But as for, at least that is what i know, they are quite unstable.

I got a 6.5 rom with tf3d and it runs faster on win 6.5 than on 6.1

I cant tell that it runs unstable...but tbh i dont really use tf3d anymore cos win6.5 just looks real nice.

Htc is one of the few developers that have allowed for the new windows 6.5 os to work with their UI ( toughflo 3d) when it's officially launched - don't panic
