1. winning 10 or more games in a season
2. winning the Big East
3. playing in BCS and even more solid bowl games
4. not having embarrassing performances like Bowling Green and the Sun Bowl in 2008.

I dont know who they all beat for them Im only 19 years old, I know they beat Georgia in the Sugar Bowl in 1976 and they had a lot of sucess under Pop Warner and Jock Sutherland in the early 1900s
