@Graevling14 I'm American and I agree the Danish version is way better. I liked the acting better, especially by Nikolaj Lie Kaas in the Jake Gyllenhaal part. Nikolaj is amazing. Ours really hits you over the head with things that where way more subtle, but just as evident, in the Danish version making it seem pretty cheesy. I loved the relationship between the brother and wife the most in the Danish one, which isn't nearly as good in the American one.

ok i dont know what everybodys problem is with this film? but this is definately a must see drama its a well thought out story with fantastic actors. great plot, twist, and keeps you interested, do yourself a favor and watch it.

this is a remake of a Danish movie called Brødre (literally 'brothers'). From the trailer I can see it has the same scenes. The original was brilliant, I just hope this doesn't get a hollywood ending cos the danish one is far from and better for it!

this is a remake of a Danish movie called Brødre (literally 'brothers'). From the trailer I can see it has the same scenes. The original was brilliant, I just hope this doesn't get a hollywood ending cos the danish one is far from and better for it!

thru some of the producers is that they were thinking of switching the title to "Afghan Brothers Of Happier Times" I think
that title flows a bit better, seeing as to thats what the movies premise is actually about.

I thought Toby MacGuire showed his acting chops in Spider-Man 3. Man, he really showed it in this film. He, Jake, & Natalie
were excellent in this film! I highly recommend this film 4 any1 who wants 2 C a great movie. This film also made me think
about what some of my friends who served in the middle east and what type of trauma they experienced. A great film that
should get a few oscar nods 4 Toby, Jake, & Natalie.
