@harokirl exactly! I live here in manhattan and that guy REALLY annoyed me. It's like get over it mate, there was alot of looting at the blackout I remember but there were some places where it was like this ad and when it happened I was at time square and everything just stopped and everyone crapper themselves loool then everyone found out and it just became a party with candles :)

ps, I have been to NY, and I am not showing off..but when the blackout happened I did fly in on Concord, by the way I flew out on normal air, the blackout to me is very significant and loveley....the people of New York that time were amazing and i am still in awe......Brilliant, first class. I can honesly say, I have been to NY many times, I saw the spirit of the people and it was absolutley first class. I have to say, I have seen Times Square in total darkness............what a day that was x

I live in nyc, I rememeber the day of the black out. It was amazing where people of all different back grounds came together to help each other.People offering people their never met before a place to stay, food to eat, it was like a big party.

Exactly....... I am from England and flew in to ny on the 13th, I love NYC,c but I can honestly say that was my happiest time I ever had in NY. I go there at least one a year, blackout was without of a shadow of a doubt the best, happiest, funniest time ever in NY.

That's right. We were in the middle of recording session when the power went out. Everybody was pretty freaked out cuz of 911 and all, but when ppl realized what had really happened, we took our instruments and went on the beach. Had massive party! Best time ever!
