  • Fucking great , the stupid videos got no number and are all mixed

  • I wish I could do film...I just have no clue where to get enlargers and all those chemicals.

  • @ebrahimebram freestyle photo, and the elnarger....Ebay! I got an Omega B22 for 30 dollars lol

  • Do people still use darkrooms? I would like to get back in it but didn't know if everything was going digital.

  • Why should it matter? Right now I'm using both. It's really a matter of personal preference. Picking up used darkroom equipment isn't too difficult, and processing film and prints yourself can be especially rewarding.

  • Most definately. Digital can be great but it will probably never make analog methods obsolete. The quality and character of film just cant be imitated

  • @XWingFighter1 I used a darkroom for 2-3 semesters at the beginning of my college degree program and I loved it. I'm still taking photo classes and since I have access to a darkroom I'm jumping on the chance. Even though it's not part of the projects we work on for class, I really enjoy it. To me, working in the darkroom is kind of like meditation. Some of the best times I remember were when I would get a darkroom to myself for a couple of course in the morning. I turn on the radio and go print.

  • As airscrew said, it's nice to see people still working in darkrooms. Being a large format photographer myself, I still do all my b&w work in my darkroom. As long as film and paper is available, I never plan to stop.

  • hay dude the printers now a day are very good for black & white.I leave close to a true master of black&white printer an photographer as a mater of fact he did workshops w/Ansel Adams the really darkroom Master for Silver halide.ha I seen some of his work is so darn there.with the true silver ones.what I have learn from him is to bring your tones in the monitor as close to what the real print is and is all about your eye and the true knowledge & training you have threw the years.I use 2 th L I.

  • Nice to see people still using film! I went digital now I've gone back to film although I stupidly sold all my darkroom gear. Biggest mistake because those inkjet printers are no way as good as using silver halide paper and chemistry. Still I've just started using Kodak Ektachrome VS and processing myself using Fuji E6. I'm not one to blow my own trumpet but my trannies are better than anything I've had back from a lab.
