  • The ropers not runnin to good

  • nice but too slow D:

  • Schnitzelhaus? :D

Wenn du schon nen deutschen Kanal hast, dann musst du auch deutsch sprechen... :D

  • @dasnorwin Nicht so gut deutsch lernen. ;)

  • @ShnitzlHaus :D

  • dobre warjaty jeszcze oraja na jedna strone

  • In think its great and well done.!!

  • sears didnt make the roper...it was an independent company until husqavarna bought them out...

  • Looks like that plow can;t go deep...what is its depth.....2 inches? lol

  • @okrafoot looks like it is just to take the grass up... idk tho

  • I have a Rally Roper and wonder how to dismantle the gearbox?

    Is it hard to do?

    Model nr L1920BT

    Thanks

  • youtube.com/watch?v=ox4E98IJaSc

This is plowing! Check it out.

  • our neighbour making a fucking mess

  • Bored:SSS

  • nice even plow

  • put a 12 row plough there

  • that carb has a big problem

  • very low fast!

  • Wow, major carb tuning man! Rawr pop rawr pop rawr pop...

  • UMMMMMM!!!!tune up! cant stand the sound of mistune, poppin and bangin-fartin n such!!!

  • hi, i wonder, after you do that do you wait for the grass to discompost before planting or what?

  • @kev2556 I ran the tiller right after. if you had the time you could wait but the tiller does a good job at cutting everything up.

  • @kev2556 technically you are supposed to give it atleast three days before further working it up, but oh well

  • @247Countryboy1 you are correct. but with a time restraint it had to be done.

    the other times it sat.

  • i miss the days of a good steel lawn tractor all the new ones fall apart too easy

  • Cool vid. Thanks

I have a Case 448 for sale now here on the Tube. After seeing your video I'm tempted to keep it.

I wonder if they make a plow like that for the 448? I know they have a rototiller for it.

  • @biggestdigger the 448 is a real good tractor. what others do you have? yes you can get a plow anyone should work fine. you will need a sleeve hitch, or a 3 point hitch to make it work. I also have a rototiller :D

  • @ShnitzlHaus the 448 is the only one we have. If I had room and the money I'd own about a dozen tractors. I'd love a 1952 Farmall Cub...any year Farmall Cub for that matter. But my dad owned the 52 or 53 so I have memories.

  • why you doing this?

  • @clickstart5 plant a garden :). turned over the sod then ran the tiller ontop of it.

  • u need to take u mower off

  • Those look like atv tires, they grip good. I thought of going that route muself but figured the tires would be to spongy.

  • @Justy330 he has good luck with them all year round.

  • I agree with "truckman14" the carb is way off. I see your comment that it is set now but this is painful to hear. Either take care of the engine or take care of the engine. This looked almost perfect but having to listen to the rum rum of the engine really was harmful. - - Thanks for posting it anyway. It is great how the old Sears equipment was built back in the day.

  • @specialks1953 yes agreed, and lets not forget. this is NOT MY tractor.

I am a case/ingersoll die hard. not saying I wouldnt buy any other, just thats what I have now :)

  • Why not to rent a sod cutter? Is way much easier. you only pay abou $80 for a day.

  • i could have done that better with my M.H. 44 and oliver 3-16s

  • @daved53185 no doubt, those tractors are in a class of their own. :D

  • Set the damn carb!

  • @truckman14 its now set :D.

  • great idea mow the grass before turning the sod, brilliant

  • @senecadaze :P lol.

  • take the deck off moron

  • @MegaJUSTVIDEOS read the description box :)

  • mine has the electris pto on the back

  • pretty clean tractor

  • i like the part when he drives a Garden Tractor

  • @jomaelitskit he is driving a garden tractor through the whole video.

  • nice tires i just mounted the same ones on my bolens

  • lol

  • yeah nice video

i think i will do this at home with my 936 Fendt Vario XD

  • That works pretty nice, I think I'll get one of them and put it on the back of my Kubota B6100, I'm using cultivators to dig from scatch, looks like this one would break up the soil much easier...

    Great job....

  • @acer0235 yes the furrow plow works great, and on a kubota B6100 it should make any chore fun :D

  • Curtis' roper may have a vacuum leak or carb problem, notice the engine surging? Other than that, sweet tractor!

  • @99minerkc hey yeh man he got it taken care of :) running like a champ

  • Urban Farmers of the world unite!!!!!!!!!

  • @anto1191 thanks Anto, would you like to see the garden?

  • @ShnitzlHaus i would imagine from the vid its well looked after thanks.

  • @anto1191 yep, parents do allot. this year we have a irrigation system. I think I will make a video, thought I had before but dont see just of the garden woops.

    do you also garden?

    regards

    Michael :)

  • @ShnitzlHaus Yes i do, i have an acre of rear garden and half an acre at the front of the house so there is a lot to do at his time of year i am lucky to have a Massey Ferguson 35 tractor which helps with heavy work. I will post up some footage soon.

Keep up the fine work :)

    Anto

  • Nice video, the guy across the street has one just like it, I just got a nice 1981 Case 224, which one of us would you say has the nicer tractor now? Huge step up from my 96 Murray, wouldn't you say? Older stuff is way better quality than most stuff availiable new now.

  • @kungdrew same here, this is my neighbors tractor, I have only case or ingersoll (well a craftsman to). so with that said, with your neighbor you have the better tractor for sure :D case rock! older sure is better :D

watched your case video and love it.

  • @ShnitzlHaus Thanks man, yeah, i need better video quality but I really wanted to get something up on here to show off my new toy. I actually look forward to mowing now, i even cut my neighbors grass for him this week just as an excuse to use my 224 some more.

I am going to keep on the lookout for more of your vids, that is going to be one nice machine when you get it all finished, can;t wait.

  • @kungdrew did you check out my ingersoll stump pull video?

im sure your aware but ingersoll bought the case garden tractor line so they are the same machine.

I need to put up some more videos but not much happening here at the moment :(

  • @ShnitzlHaus Yeah actualy saw your stump video while I was researching which tractor brand to buy. It's funny how you start looking for jobs to do with your machine out of boredom. would love to see more of your hi wheeler and the cab attachment. thanks man.

  • @kungdrew yep, love brainstorming what the tractor can do. I often hook up my dump cart and drive to a location were a tree was just cut up and start hauling wood home :D is my version of a pickup truck.

I will be fixing up the cab and installing it so I will video it. will call the sandblaster tomorrow.

cant believe how addicting tractors can be, I have been doing a good job at holding back on lots of purchases but I can only stay back for so long.

  • whats up with the engine

it sounds like it keeps missing

  • @treehouseman3 yes neighbor had some carb problems.

    its all worked out now.

  • is the 3pt Hitch hommade?

  • @deeredriver95 I believe it is a factory add on. :)

it seems like it could be easily made :D

  • @ShnitzlHaus

Ok, thanks. I´ve got a John Deere stx30 and want to construct a hitch for a plow and so on...

  • That is a beautiful tractor. Glad he got the carb work done.

Is that a Craftsman 3000 gt?

  • i've never seen someone plow with the mower deck still on. nice tractor

  • nice old tractor. looks like you had fun.

  • nice

  • Well done....Good Video.

  • @MrDanoconnor thank you :)

  • YA nice tractor i have the exact the same one do you have any idea what year it is.

I will be putting videos of it on soon.

  • check out the one I posted yesterday, Kurtis the owner posted the year in the comments :D

  • Those old Ropers are tough tractors...used to have one! 5/5 stars

    Hell yeah

  • Sounds like that engine needs one of the needle valves adjusted in the carb. Nice vid.

  • thanks :)

oo man that carb needed allot.

but its all good now, he got it sorted... after years of owning it that way lol.

  • That Roper is sweet.

  • it runs so much nicer then what you see in the video. he got it all tuned up! very strong tractor does most everything asked of it!
