  • nice music!!

  • Rraa !! this is the same !!

  • It's amazing, the beat it's the same how did u do it!!

  • @djm1o Thanks. I got hold of the individual samples of the Korg Minipops 7 and created the rythm in cubase

  • Excelente..

  • Excellent version, very inspiring, and performed live, with a minimum use of the sequencer! You're very talented.

  • OH MY GOD. Really good cover!!! I posted this in facebook :D

  • great job... i am a fan of jarre´s work for many years and - yes - i think the day comes he will like it, too!!!

  • Very good job!!!

  • very pleasing to the ear type of music!

  • Hi this is my piece of music composed

Inspired by Jean Michel Jarre THX

    /watch?v=UnYbmM40X64

  • i have to say... one of the best cover versions of this song!!!

  • @Hethond Thanks a lot!

  • great cover , totaly well done. like your setup.

  • I think that Jean Michel Jarre himself would like your video! Awesome!

  • @fabiovsroque hehe, thanks a lot. Be great if he did

  • Absolutely brilliant! Stunning rendition!

  • very, very cool, respekt....top

  • @kirmet79 Hi, thanks a lot!

  • Bien tocado y sonidos conseguidos!

  • Wow! Fantastic job, sounds great!

  • Gteat job my friend! :0)

  • where did you get the minipopS?

  • @Hethond It's a Univox SR-95, the version of the Minipops they shipped to America and re-named, couldn't find an actual Minipops. I got it from ebay

  • It doesn't really get any better than that ! Outstanding job DeJarreVu !

  • its the most amazing cover i seen by now.

Keep up the good work my friend!

  • @stevarass hehe, thanks a lot

  • Truly amazing!

  • @mogilnyfirefly Thanks!

  • Great ! Today it's a lot "easier" (no, it's not easy, I know it well ...) to play such a masterpiece, you can do it without a studio and strange arctifacts ;)

    BRAVO.

  • Cracking cover.... great work and great sounds.... like it... :0)

  • Well my friend its the best cover i have seen on you tube so far....Great job,

  • @MOLYBDENUM23 Thanks a lot!

  • Revelation!My compliments!

I wish you a lot of ideas and successes.

  • I have a question for you: how can you do the dual sound at 1:00 if you are playing a monophonic synth???

  • @bountykiller91 You mean the string sound that comes in? Thats being played by cubase. The MS-20 i'm playing isn't a real one anyway, its the midi controler/VST version

  • @DeJarreVu really?? wow I didn't know that korg build a midi controller like the real ms20!

  • @bountykiller91 Yeah, I got it from ebay for £150, a lot cheaper than a real one. It came with the korg legacy collection vst's which are the MS-20, Polysynth and Wavestation. Its not as big as an original one and the keys on it aren't that good, but it's good to play around with all the knobs and things on there and apparently its pretty close sounding to the original one

  • great performance and intruments;)

  • you are good!

  • @molekulaTV Thanks a lot

  • Fantastic version mate I think it sounds just like the real thing

  • @ScottishLad1978 Thanks a lot!

  • @DeJarreVu your welcome, you need to do much more stuff on here

  • hmmm... u got a nice setup there m8!

  • No mames!!!! Está increíble esta versión!!!

  • You. Are. Amazing... :D

  • You have a great passion and I also had that myself but fell in the wrong direction. Jean michel jarre is a true inspiration

  • @chrisg7504 Thanks. You should try and get back into it. Yeah JM Jarre is inspirational. I haven't really composed any of my own music yet though, but it's good fun doing cover versions of his.

  • Great Cover. Like the original. Good work.

  • awesome :)

  • amazing

  • the best cover ever ! , I think it must be very hard to handle all these instruments at once...did you play in c minor ? :)

    Andy

  • @talesofkilimanjaro Thanks a lot. As for playing in C minor, um... I'm not sure. I just play it as it sounds

  • @talesofkilimanjaro The most JMJ tracks are in c minor.

  • good one :)

  • @chrisbern75 Thanks a lot. Glad you liked it. Love your JM Jarre covers

  • @DeJarreVu Yes it`s C minor. Very gorgeous sound from the Korg synth.

Fantastic cover by the way ;)

  • @SyntheseHeizer Thanks a lot. Took a while to get that sound, still not 100% but sounds ok

  • good quality movie

  • Korg MS20 rules

  • GOOD LORD! LOOK AT THE BEAUTIFUL KORG SYNTHESIZER! I LOVE IT ALLREADY, SO CUTE!

  • @phildevin Thanks phil

  • You are crazy! This is awesome. Great work.

  • @Drakulitj hehe, thanks!

  • wow, like original :D amazing man.

one question: where did you get the 'background music' ? self made ?

  • @PAGAdomino Thanks. Yeah, everything has been re-done using soft synths and the synths you see in the video

  • awesome !!! loved it !!!!

  • Fab stuff.... well done.

  • If i close my eyes i think i'm listening to the original album recording by JMJ.

    Very well performed! Congratulations.

    Sotiris.

  • @synthlab Thanks a lot!

  • sounds great, man. good job.

  • brilliant ! respect for you !

  • Very good!!! Very similar sounds :)

  • @19maly84 Yeah, they would be some good tracks to do. I am working on my version of Equinoxe 5 at the moment, I will post it as soon as it is finished.

  • Przynajmniej jeden facet który umie zagrać te utwory tak jak J.M.JARR. Jesteś naprawde dobry w tym co robisz, fajnie się tego słucha. pozdrawiam POLAND

  • @19maly84 Thanks alot. And as it was such a nice comment, I'll post it here translated -

"At least one guy who knows how to play those songs as JMJARR. You are really good at what you do, fun to listen to. greet POLAND"

  • That was different class mate! Really enjoyed listening to your version.Well done.

  • Excellent JMJ cover - very thorough and you make it look so easy....(if only it was!)

  • @TheInnocentSynth hehe, thanks alot

  • @TheInnocentSynth oh, by the way, just noticed it was you that posted the video of the roland RS-09 a while back. It was that video that promted me to get a roland RS- 09 and hook it up with a small stone, didn't realise you could get that jarre sound out of it untill i saw your video , so thanks for that!

  • @DeJarreVu Hi - if only that was me! It was actually AnalogAudio1 (who does some superb JMJ stuff), its just one of my favourites and so comes up on my channel..;-)

  • pas mal

  • haarf terrible ... the same !

but the grey keybord sound for the melodic mib ré mi do sol mib ré mib do sol ... the sound could be better with a JV1080 in this case you can find a preset named "analog lead " Preset B93 , you have just to affect an LFO and a special ADSR conf(TVA ENV) .

    very nice congratulations.

  • @olijack57 Thanks. yeah that sound was pretty hard to do on the Roland JP 8000

  • Great cover my friend*****!

  • Very awsome, fantastic. Love it!

    5/5

  • Thanks alot guys. I do spend alot of time the tweaking sounds to try and get them as close as I can

  • Nice work. Your sounds do get pretty close to some of the originals. Keep it up!

  • Excellent cover! You show that it is possible to get the sound and details right without using exactly the same equipment that the original was made with. Looking forward to your next video :-)
