  • Fords are terrible. CHEVY ROCKS!

  • No brake booster?

  • @spencnaz No didnt get around to it

  • The worst of both breeds lol dodge and ford

  • Yeah man that is such a badass truck! 93 Dodge Cummins and 88 F250 IDI Navistar here.

  • That's a sharp looking rig.

  • kool truck

  • I dont know man F-150 ? I would atleast have a F-250 3/4 ton to put it in 6btcummins 12v thats about 800 to 1000 pounds of motor there. Or you might go with a 4btCummins which is the 4cylinder version of the 6 cylinder cummins. I have see these conversion in hafe ton pickups..

  • Hey I have a 1986 F-150 I wanna put a 12v Cummins in it. How hard do you think it would be? And how expensive? It has a the 4 speed granny in it and is a 4x4. I have had nothing but trouble with the 300 L6 gas.

  • dang dude thats an awesome truck i have the old body style dodge cummins im hoping to drop into a classic truck when the body starts falling apart. nice job on that.

  • That is nice dude it's the most badass truck I've seen in quite a while. Now you need some vids of that pulling or working or even just cruising. I bet that's an unstoppable drivetrain.

  • I probably said this before but, it doesnt get any better than a Ford with a Cummins! I plan on buying a 73-97 Ford F-250 or 350 gasser and doing a Cummins swap. A 94-97.5 12-valve Cummins. Also, buying a Super Duty gasser and doing a Caterpillar C7 swap. Yes a C7 does fit in a Super Duties engine bay :)!

  • That is the coolest thing ever!!

  • IT CAN BE DONE!!!! Yeah!! I want to know some info on how much room you have and mods to everything else! If you want I can leave you my email address.

  • Theres room! I thought it wasnt goin to fit so I cut part of the fire wall out, And ended up putting it back. In fact I just did a new head gasket 4 months ago cus it had bad plowby, The hardest part was gettin the 2 rear head bolts and push rods off lol, Umm mods, I havent really done anything in that area yet, except turn the screw in for more power n smoke .

  • I wish I could have a truck like that, man, with a 1989 to early 1991 rotary pump engine non-intercooled Cummins 6BT engine. That is so awesome!

  • dude thats awsome! im convincing my father to drop a 6bt (1st gen 12 valve) in his 76 F250. He was thinking of a 4bt.

  • sweet truck I wish I had one like that

  • Great build! I'd love to have that on the interstate for some pudwacker in a benz or something to come up and pull some road rage.

  • It had a four-speed in it and 5:13 gears which made the truck very slow, and it had no 4WD, no nothing.

  • Thats not the stock engine is it?

  • Nope! stock was a 292 V8

  • Had more then a hunch, what happened to the old engine?

  • sold it on ebay

  • At least you didn't destroy it like a lot of morons do.

  • Haha, Some guy who also have a 1964 F-350 like mine bought it .

  • Well may be put it to good use. You have a great truck, keep good care of it.

  • Is the cab on dodge frame??was it a good fit Thinkin of doing same to my four door but hard to find ((cheap)) two wheel drive non one ton.

  • nope its all on the 64 Ford F-350 frame . Only thing thats diffrent is motor, drive train , axles

  • Beutiful truck.

  • WOW!!! i am trying to build a 1947 chevy with the good ol' 12 valve but the frame rails are too narrow, so i have settled for a small block 350 it was fun looking at the huge motor sitting in the chevy though, nice job though, starts up fast i like that

  • Hey I just wanted to said thats a project thats been on my mind for a long time . late 40's to mid 50's truck with a cummins in it . I love those old truck with a long nose

  • @BigDan855 would the 4bt work?

  • @BigDan855 hey how much did the whole build cost n how fast does it go i was thinking bout buying a 49 ford f5 n puttin a 12 valve n it or maybe puttin the body on a dodge frame i wanna make a hauler out of it but i wana go fast n wondering how much u go stuck in that

  • @FROSTY2588 would the 4bt work, its a lil smaller I think?

  • @1981bigolboy wow this comment was foever ago, ive since bought a dodge with a 12 valve in it and scrappped the 47 chev, project. it was a 2 ton truck and the frame rails were narrowed so they could fit the big tires and keep a fairly narrow-er turning radius.

And yes the 4bt is much much smaller. i just hate the rattle can sound of it.

  • quattro formaggio does not mean four form. it means for cheese

  • well hell if you dont like mufflers then get some 8 or 12 inch straights to go on it

  • it would run better with a muffler just sounding good gets annoying after a while

  • LOL!! I'm not one a for mufflers, only exhaust resonators and spark arrester

  • ya jus sayin it would get better fuel mileage to with a muffler. did you have to put the engine in it or was it in there and wut size is it

  • cummins 5.9 359ci

  • that thing is awsome looking and has Cummins power to back it up!

  • dan i wish i had that truck

  • let the man work on his truck, he has too much going on with him.

  • why only one stack.

  • working on doing 2 stacks

  • Nah, leave it one. Single turnouts are awesome!

  • trying to make it sound louder and better. lol

  • That's really cool. Good work.

  • ME TOO!!!!!

  • I love to hear the air horn, please!

  • The definitive air horn for this Cummins-powered pickup truck is the Wolo Model 400 Airmite 2, which also applies to every Dodge Cummins-powered truck.

  • ha, ha, ha...I knew it!!!! Have fun with that truck, man!!!! Don't ever sell it!!!

  • Yeah man, I wish I would have gotten the motor from a 96 Dodge 12v with the inline inject pump , I like the sound better .

  • BigDan855, I'm guessing the 5.9 engine might be off a 1990 Dodge Ram Cummins if I'm not mistaken. By the way, it's a kick-ass sound in a kick-ass 1964 Ford Army truck

  • yes the engine is out of a 90 dodge

  • 12 valve cummins

  • yepper

  • BigDan855, my hat is off to you about the 1964 Ford F350 Army truck with the Cummins Turbo Diesel engine. What year is the engine off of, and is the transmission an NV4500 5-speed manual or just a Getrag? And the stack is awesome on top. Do not sell this truck because if you do, you will regret it, man. Anyone in the army can want one of those!!!! Keep up the good work, dude!!!!

  • i am an altronian

  • That's a nice truck man. Sounds good! I have a 64 stepside with a 292 V8 all stock and mostly original and I love it. It's cool because the dash and the cluster look just like that one and the same basic body style too - just smaller. I love those trucks. Thanks for the post!

  • yeah I sold my 292 with the 4speed . My grandpa use to fuel up this truck two times a

day when it had the 292 with gas

  • Sweet ride man...Cummins in a Ford, the only way to go!

  • Wow man! Thats awesome that's what it is! Please post some more videos of this truck:D

  • nice work man. you said everything changed... does that mean the 5.13 gears too? cool truck.

  • yes is has 3.55 gears . The old dana 70 that was on it was 5.13gears

  • yeah, I guess unless you need to pull a house you won't need 5.13's huh.... well you probably still have low lock or low range in the transfer case for pulling houses huh. ha ha ha

  • oh yeah even 1st gear is too low to start off in I use 2sec mostly . And the tranfer has 2 wheel low too .

  • Very Very Nice... I would switch to some of those Michelin military tires with 20" rims or so... the XLZ's I think they're called.

  • sweet truck

  • All these comments w/out any ratings? whats up with that!! Killer truck!

  • Old 6BT 12v?

  • yepper thats what it is.

  • Guessing 160-200HP and 400-500 ft-lb torque?

  • stock is 160HP I did tweak up the fuel pump a lil . But it could use more powers still

  • Wait til you get a 3200-governor spring in it!

  • nice truck

did u swap it urself? id buy that in a second

  • yea I did it my self took me 2 years to do .

The truck had a 292 V8 with 4 speed and a 5.13 gears so everthing was change out .

  • thats pretty bad ass i own a 1966 f100 with the 352 and the 3 on the tree...hoping to make this an oem dream machine...i inherited it from my father...
