Nah, it's the real deal. The bullet was in a small depression in bedrock in a fast flowing stream. And lead always looks clean and new when found in the water. Thanks for looking!
cool, that will be interesting to see. i live by lake michigan (chicago) where i doubt there is anything to detect but garbage. ;) the water never really arms up anyway...
