when playing hockey you learn how to take hits, how to make your body like jello when you hit the ice, otherwise you strain muscles. You also learn how to make your head fall!

I do not understand. I'm from Russia and play hockey. And what was it? Nothing. The normal game situation, even without breaking the rules (a player elbow has not raised). What's the problem? When we were 5 years old, we were taught: It is hockey, not ballet on ice!

It's interesting how they congregate around the injured player. It's vaguely reminiscent of the swarming of Iraqis or Palestinians after a bombing. Must be a cultural thing. Anyone else seeing this?
