They are RP sets using drops in weight. Your time between the drops is too long to be an out and out drop set, especially the last drop. Hence you are actually doing RP sets. Real drop sets are killers and hence it is natural for many to take several gasps of air...which is a sign that the next weight would be impossible for them to do right away. In other words they have chickened out of doing what they originally intended...a true drop set...Why? Because they hurt!
