My Bears need EVERYTHING. A quarterback that doesn't wear a dress. WIde receivers that know what a football looks like and a Defense that has an I.Q above 50. Lord, (yes,I'm resorting to begging) please tell our front office that I like to refer to as "King Numb-nuts", that we need a quarterback,... they may not know what one is, so as they go to pick a draft, force their hands into the QB direction,...b/c our front office is a little slow... they came from that special yellow bus.
Yes, fair comment, I just came out with that one about us needing a running back but our real need is at the WR position. If I was GM and there were endless possibilities at the position, I would go out and get a fast, medium height reciever with average hands in the first round and then a BIG WR who is slower but has great hands in the later rounds. I would then pick up either a TE, RB or LB in between them, because there is a good strong class of TE's.
my Washington Redskins finally getting some spotlight by NFL Review UK., awesome. how would you guys rank the nfc east? my ranking would be 1. Redskins 2. Giants 3. Cowboys 4. Eagles
We are pretty sure he is going to stay in San Diego this year (hopefully), and he should be on a reduced salary for what may only be a year (like TO), which would be very fair as his performance has dropped significantly like all running backs do, as they get older. He can then reconsider his options next year based on his performance in this upcoming season and possibly move to another team next offseason and sadly he could see time as a second back for that other team...
...However, this year he should be leaning like a Charger and sharing plays with Sproles who should, in our opinion, see his carries go up this year. Sproles may well be the future of the Chargers so they had better start giving him more carries now that LT is on the decline. But LT is still good enough to get more of the carries, but it will benefit the Chargers to keep both guys fresh, with Sproles also taking on kick/punt return responsibilities.
